good accuracy, one hit kill / one hit down, 30 round mag!!!, great iron sights.

The first not full auto rifle besides the Gewehr 43 in Kurz that is worth my attention.

any one had the chance to test the drum SVT?

I dont think that its worth even half a gold order, its just a regular SVT + 10 rounds.

I got the Farquar hill rifle, it hits hard with good accuracy and it looks epic, ironsights could be better but they are usable.

you know, I usually prefer the regular FG42 over STGs and such, I love single shot hard hitting rifles, yet most semi autos have rather bad accuracy and 10 rounds in a mag is not good enough to carry the game, especially when the reload takes forever.

I would compare the 20 round SVT with a AVT 40 which also has 15 rounds in a mag.
5 more rounds alone is not really enough to make it viable, but maybe greater accuracy or something along those lines could be appreciated.

So it is really a disappointment? Sounds sad to me.

Nothing beats the STG or it’s variants. Those easy headshots are a dream. Unless you’re talking about Stalingrad the STG and FG don’t fall into the same category. Both versions of the FG42 are excellent for all soldiers who are not assault or tanker/pilot

I just bought one in Tunisia.

I kid you not, in the very next match, it allowed me to singlehandedly sweep and take a whole cap point.

TWICE.

Granted, it was an odd match because I think everyone but me and one guy on the red team were bots, and admittedly I saw some of the dumbest bot behavior I’ve ever seen in this game (on both sides), but still storming inside buildings and blasting left and right with that seemingly endless mag was hella fun.
