Since this topic is about sales purchases in general, can someone please tell me if US premium paras CAN be their heads customized?

Also, I’d like to know opinions about whether it may be worth or not buying any of Normandy premium para squads, albeit on sale, since the current event is giving away two more.
Not sure about which US squad will be best (the gun will ultimately make or break the Vickers squad), but on paper, the German event squad looks at least on par if not superior to the premium one.
I mean, how redundant do you think premium paras vs event paras will be?

I’m sorry but the p-47 is not a dogfighter. It’s a flying bus that only a pure noob in an axis plane would die to. Its energy retention is horrible. Its climb rate is horrible, its turn is horrible, and it’s slow as hell low to ground.

Ok but for real what do you mean? The P47 isn’t the perfect dogfighter, but it’s fast and maneuverable enough to dogfight compared to the A20.
The M42 is pretty good and definitely underrated, high ROF and basically zero recoil. Excellent in close quarters and can be used at mid range too. But yeah not sure if that’s worth the price tag.
It looks like it might come to the campaign soon.
I think they will delete the squad because is not competitive in comparison with the TZ45, yes no recoil but 20 bullets? Is the only bad thing I see

The BP Razor-back is much better as a dogfighter - dunno why that should be the case!!
Got the Tempest, findings are that it is basically the last fighter unlock for the American campaign. The bombs are the same, the 20mm’s are rather odd. They are great at setting things on fire, so aim for the opponents engines. They are terrible against flight surfaces it seems, leading me to think it is a pure AP and incendiary belt.

25 actually. Which still isn’t great, but you can definitely cause some trouble with it anyway.
I feel like if it was more it would be too powerful. Like if it had a 50 or 100rd drum and no recoil it would be borderline broken.

I can confirm. Enemy fighters and attackers go down reasonably fine, but somehow AI bombers tank hundreds of rounds and barely trail smoke.
It’s not really a boom and zoom fighter though. More of a boom and get the hell out of dodge. It has horrible E retention and being so heavy its climb rate is horrible and ability to keep speed up horrible also.

I’m taking in the respects of “zooming” and just leaving (which p-47 does) and zooming/ vertical fighting in which 109 does really well. One thing the p-47 could never do.
