Well, sometimes it can be very frustrating when none of your squads has any sniper in it but you fall into an obvious “sniper’s fest” map (ie. defending the quarry for instance where defenders have close to 0 chance to get to the capture point). Considering that this is just an example that can be completely different in many ways (having a sniper squad that’s almost useless because of a heavy building environment) it might be a good thing to make the allocating and balancing thingy to take the player’s squad selection into account.
Snipers can’t not even in a dream stop a push, tanks exist and are viable for both sides, flanking lanes exist on that map, etc.
Is normal for a inexperienced player to get lost and overwhelmed but that map isn’t that simple and experienced players have their best match ups on that map as it really challenges your options if a good player is in the other side.
At the ranges in enlisted, A rifle is all thats needed to snipe. and everyone has those.
Also those big open maps are more reliant on Tanks and Artillery (smoke and HE) to assault. Just remember that in quarry those points are completely exposed for everyone (attackers and defenders)
Sometimes I wish for a sniper, but I just end up using a regular rifle and squinting at my screen.

Lee Enfield sniper certainly can. Did it often in Tunisia (and I’m not talking about bots). very easy to do with other models as well: the scope makes it much easier to spot that human controlled character, and lock the next one, and the next one…
Ofc… The problem is, there’s not that many GOOD sniper players I’ve met in game. Most just think about finding the highest spot possible, wasting time, and not even surveying the good spots…
But when there’s a good enemy marksman… He single handedly delay the battle flow enough that his own team can breath enough to defend (or assault) more easily, enough so to force his enemy into taking snipers of their own to counter, or even fat metal boxes on threads.
Seems like you are using only smgs & flamers.
Since you can quite effectively snipe with semis & BA rifles which do not have scope.
So this issue is purely created only because of your choices.
Classic case of “others do not play the eay I want so something needs to be fixed or even better - restricted” type of behavior.
Meanwhile the whole time the problem is you, not others.
You don’t need *stop push" as sniper. You just need to keep objetives clear.
Meaning you really do not care about tanks in the first place.
And nearly on any map, there’s one completely opet objective. So snipers can be very effective. Especially in consideration most of time yout playing against casuals and bots.
I really don’t see how this should be relevant especially to sniper class. Casual players will never be effective. And it is completely irrelevant which squad they’re playing.
