The Premium Squad Snipers with the net that covers their faces look good on snow maps
because the net is white.
But on maps without snow they just look like any regular soldier and nothing special
and I’m not sure how I can change that.
You can’t. The developers need to add different colored versions of these helmets for this squad.
And if I’m not mistaken, they mentioned something earlier about adding more unique clothings for premium squads in the future for campaigns where their current unique clothing doesn’t fit.
But maybe I’m just blending in with something, my brain hasn’t been working well at all lately.
This might come in the future. Would be nice (I just discover customization more and more).
The net could be green/brown/grey like the helmet - I think this would fit.

I don’t think it’s good that I cannot choose the premium (paid for) net in just another colour. It’s for camouflage reasons. Even though snipers are not the meta in the game. If I play them I kind of want to stay hidden and that would help to have their bright faces darkened a bit.
Bathrobes sound fun to shoot at.
For everyone. I just now figured out that every squad can change clothes individually for every campaign / maps. Still it’s not possible to dress accordingly.
Well similarly it’s not good that I cannot choose the premium (paid for) squad to not be clowns in bathrobes in Normandy or not wear grey civilian suits in Tunisia.
Premium squads customization is badly needed, and the way I see it:
Standard uniforms for out of theater deployment (Moroccans by default wear standard US green in Normandy)
Additional extra options but relevant to the theater (like adding a sand net camo for snipers)
Devs already stated they intend to give unique looks for premium squads across various theaters.
They’ve begun slowly fulfilling their promise, for example, Fedorov MG squad got steel breastplates with DSHK ammo belts in Berlin and Stalingrad, similar to what they’ve have in Moscow. MG 42 early squad got MG131 ammo belts on their uniform in Tunisia (nevermind they can’t normally go to Tunisia due to BR but details).
They’ve also fixed missing webbing on MG-30 squad in Stalingrad and Ardennes.
There might be other squads fixed/reworked, hard to say as there’s so many of them and I have but a few.
My personal gripe with this approach is while it’s cool MG-42 “early” got unique looks for Moscow, where they can never appear, and the devs might be slowly adding stuff like that, why can’t I have standard tan colored camo for the Volkssturm squad when it happens to go to Tunisia in the meantime?
Customization for premium squads should be free so you could do that yourself.
Another important detail that customization shouldn’t carry over campaigns so you don’t accidentally over write your original premium custom set as default.
I highly disagree. There should be just adjustable priority option instead. When you can set that default clothes have higher priority than clothes purchased from another campaign.
After all campaigns merged together the game gave me gold back from squad slots and when the winter sale came I got it. I like the net and gun but it’s expensive for sure. That’s why I didn’t bother to buy it before.
To all - thanks for more suggestions. It’s not VERY important but I hope they will add more options for customization soon. It’s fun and especially for premium squads - should be implemented.
Also please add customization for premium / event vehicles (I can’t stand standard paint camouflage without any markings like numbers and crosses etc).
