the trouble is then people would want the ability to shoot through indestructible walls and trees
yes a lot of things like non-building walls can be blown up run over, but house walls need to stay up on defense points for balance
windows and doors, sandbags are fine but not anti-tank barriers.
the idea simply adding a scoped at-rifles are fine so long as they don’t do anything normal at rifles can and go up at least one BR to the counterparts
I already know what will be sold in the next patch.
It’s a pity, but in reality the optical sight quickly broke down. just 1-2 shots and that’s all.
New content is only for money now. Or for a marathon.
In this period AFAIK they were still AT weapons, not sniper weapons, and so should be for AT troopers, so no thanks.
The scope on the Solothurn is its standard sight.
Also AT rifles were not made to be particularly accurate, whereas sniper rifles and ammo were specifically made, or selected from manufactured batches, for accuracy.
On a similar note wouldn’t it be cool if this game had total destruction where we can destroy walls, buildings, blow holes. Sigh what a dream…maybe one day
popular to me. but considering that the devs need 6-12 months to fix a tiny bug, this doesn’t seem to become true for them to put in a new stuff/mechanic.
In this game, you hardly need to worry about the enemy’s transport truck set up 300 meters away.
You can use sniper rifles to take out fortifications other than anti-tank guns
Even if you use an anti-tank rifle without a sniper scope, you can snipe the tank guns on the mountain.
To sum up the above
There is no need for anti-tank rifles with optical sights
People are already running around with prototype weapons or WW1 guns pretending to be ARs while ironically the only actual AR family is weaker than the imposters.
Adding AT rifles that pretend to be anti-material rifles is just a cherry on top.
