Each shell creates a smoke cloud twice as big as a handheld smoke grenade: about 12 metres in diameter, lasting about 60 seconds.
btw its not 60 sec its 30 sec whichs make it usless to use!!
It seems fine as it is. The shorter the line when you call it in, the denser it is. It lasts long enough to make a push, then use smoke grenades to close the rest of the distance.
They would need to make fortifications stronger before I could agree with an extension to its duration.

to be fair, the only issue i have with the smoke call, is the cooldown between a friendly airstrike ( meaning if someone already used it before ) and the dispersion ( yes… also present in smoke artiellery lol ) along a line leaving chunks wide open.
but, a longer lasting effect would be beneficial for everyone
( since almost no one use smokes artillery beside me… )
I spammed it before… Was much more useful than regular arty to me.
But a 2 mins cooldown? I just don’t bring any radiomen squads in my lineup at all.
considering to what we have now, yeah it kinda is without a doubt.
literally only 6/8 shells, long cooldown, and no efficency.
i swear it has become nearly impossible to kill someone with arty.
which, i didn’t mind the nerf, but the efficency has severely decreased to a point of no return.
so i either use bomb runs or smokes.
but yeah… seems bombs runs are somewhat viable compared to the others.
yes also 2 min cooldown is idk. its best tactic thing that attackers can use when certain cap points is unbalanced. so devs hello
