Smaller/shorter gamemodes

Enlisted has a fair few gamemodes at the moment but they can all drag on for a while.
Sometimes I don’t have time for or don’t care for a 20+ minute match.

I suggest add smaller/shorter game modes:

Co-op:
If you’ve ever played the newer battlefront 2 you might be familiar with co op. But it’s just 4 real players that have to capture objectives Vs a team of bots. Gamemodes like this are shorter and less stressful than a much longer game.

Capture the flag:
Capture the flag has been seen in lots of games but in short it’s a gamemode where your team has to catch your enemy’s flag a set amount of times to win and your enemy has to do the same. I don’t imagine a match lasting much longer than 15 minutes.

Team death match:
Each team has a number of reinforcements to use, which ever team deplets the enemy’s reinforcements first wins (no bots,except in player’s squads). I think that this would be better if it was played in a cut down version of a bigger map.

Enlisted already has the maps available to make more gamodes in those maps possible. I think it’d be a lot easier for the Devs to add new gamodes instead of making new maps for the same boring gamemodes.

Im sick and tired of being forced to play 30 minute plus matches, especially 50 minute ones
(yes they do occur).

Capture the flag is an interesting concept.

I dont think the co op suggestion would work given how small the playerbase is.

It’s interesting some maps are comparatively small while others are quite large.

Co-op only needs 4 players though.

Oh boy I have a PTSD from tf2 for this mode tbh and if it doesn’t have a timer or ticket it definitely gonna be very long

Shorter game modes?

We had 4-5 minute conquest matches before people complained about it wasting their boosters.

Now everyone has to suffer 20 minute matches at minimum.

Id definitely like some new game modes they could add ones like:

Hill 112 (1944, Normandy, France): The British and Germans fought fiercely over this strategic high ground during the Battle of Normandy.

Hill 262 (“Mont Ormel,” 1944, France): The Polish forces held this hill against a desperate German counterattack during the closing of the Falaise Pocket.

Seelow Heights (1945, Germany): The German army made a last stand on these hills east of Berlin against the advancing Soviet Red Army.

Just a suggestion but new game modes do have room to be introuduced.

I would love to see a mode like Mann vs Machine from TF2, where few players would cooperate to fight off waves of ai enemies. It was my favourite game back then before I abandoned it after getting scammed on steam haha
It would allow for introduction of fronts which normally couldn’t be played in standard Enlisted as we know it with BRs, tech trees and all of that.
For example when I saw that desert soviet tank camo for the first time I started thinking where it could be used even, then after checking all of possibilities I found out that the invasion of Iran would be the only option to introduce a southern front for them, and because Iran couldn’t be a normal faction in Enlisted, it would fit perfectly to this kind of mode, whenever you would be attacking as Soviets and Brits or defending as Iranians.
I imagine it being perfect mode for some kind of Invasion of Poland scenario

Yeah, like 2 times per 15 matches. But okay.

I dont think darkflow will ever add a co-op mode because they want as many people as possible to be queueing for the squads mode to keep matchmaking times smaller

I’m pretty sure thats the reason why they didnt make the april 1st zombies mode an official gamemode because they really want people to focus on squads, same reason why they killed lone fighters

I prefer a 20 min match than a 10 min who one team just stomp the other

if this is added i cant imagine the masive ammount of xp and silver i can get by playing 3-4 matches on these game mode: D
