MG 15 is unplayable without bipods and prone pozition

If you pick up the perks, and even in squats in short bursts - great. Why touch it if they’re about to add mg42/100 to us

When it comes to Machine guns, the only ones I really use a lot are the BAR 1918A2 and the MG13. I bought four FN1930 for my German Squads and I use them at level 5 since they are like the BAR’s. I use the A2’s in level 3 and 5, and only use the MG 13 at level 2. But I rarely use heavy machine guns, even though I have two German premium MG squads and a Russian MG premium squad. In the higher levels I tend to like Assault rifles and use mostly rifle squads. Every one of my MG troops gets full recoil perks maxed.

the recoil isnt much of a problem, but the fire rate, which makes even small recoil hit very hard.
your best solution is to play the new MG42-100. make sure to perk the soldier for horizontal recoil, as vertical isnt a problem for the MG42. if you wanna dual wield, combine the mg42 with mg34, as both feature the same recoil profile, so a soldier perked for one will be perfectly perked for both.

Just buy MG45 or MG42 early. They have much lower premium recoil.

I tend to choose the lighter MG’s because they don’t slow my soldier down like the heavy MG’s do. Now, the most kills I have had without dying I think I have 36 out of 50 at the moment, and most were done using the Browning 1919A6 against the Germans. I can’t think of the map, but I used to drop to the ground and the Germans kept coming around the same building so I simply mowed the lawn. 
That was before the M2 Stinger, but I rarely get that map anymore and the BAR and FN1930 are better for my game play. I do use MG42’s in my level 5 APC, and when 50 kills or so are one of my daily goals will use all my MG squads. With the Germans I mainly play level 2 and 5, so I use the MG13 in level 2
