Hello bajtársak and fellow forumdwellers,
Though BR4 is not too popular, we should not forget about BR4 weapons.
The DT-29 has pretty intense recoil, even with its relatively low rate of fire. The best way I can characterise it are sharp horizontal kicks, even after trying all perk settings possible, it still remained uncomfortable.
Looking into its stats left me even more puzzled.

Its recoil is not much worse than the Te-4 and yet that feels much smoother.
It’s not visual recoil either as with German MGs.
I know that the DT-29 is designed to be used as a tank´s secondary armament and is supposed to have high recoil, but so is the Te-4 which does everything the DT-29 does, just better.
In light of all of this, the DT-29 should get its horizontal recoil decreased with 30-35%.
(note: its vertical recoil is also high, but with vertical recoil perks that is very much manageable).
It’s also worth noting that the MG42 (50 rounds) and MG 34 Patronentrommel have almost identical stats, but the MG34 P. has a bigger magazine (75 vs 50 rounds) and faster reload (4.8 vs 5.6s) meanwhile MG42´s “advantage” is slightly faster rate of fire (880 vs 990 rpm).
Even the Te-4 and DT-29 have bigger magazines and faster reload so the MG42 50 should get a reload buff so it reloads slightly faster than the MG34 P.
