Slight change to Squad Behaviors and their UI indicators ( With pictures! 😲 )

Being someone who uses AI commands and behaviors a lot, I want to give my feedback on how it could be slightly better.

First, I would like to suggest adding in a new behavior called ‘Defensive’ which will mimic the current ‘Passive’ behavior to fight back when fired upon. The defensive indicator would look something like the below mock image with the shield.

Second, I would suggest changing the current ‘Passive’ behavior to not allow shooting back at all. This is to allow smoother movements when trying to quickly move your squad out of danger if the commander is quick enough to pull them.

Third, I would suggest making the ‘Aggressive’ behavior indicator present (below mock image) since currently it just shows blank. I can understand that you might be trying to minimize the HUD, but it is useful to have that info at a glance.

There is also a mock image of how the wheel would look.

Thank you for reading

P.S. Please make formations more effective, only ‘Close’ seems to be the most noticeable.

I’d say any kind of cover, in all of campaigns.
Reducing their suicidal-exhibitional tendencies would really help a long way to make us think that we are commanding a professional group of soldiers, rather than a bunch of rag-tag madmen…

Not sure how the code of the game looks like, if its possible at all. But i do agree, at the moment I have to use the the individual orders to micromanage them after me through a trench. If they solve that they probably would solve the AI using the shovel trenches as well…
