having options is fun thats why germans have so many guns. if you need to kill those tanks by shooting them in the front they are outplaying you. I suggest letting them move forward and then shooting them. those tanks have weak HE and are only good with their canons vs other tanks. if you have your launchers go aheads and use those tools but S-18 is still a good tool to have
japans AT rifle should move up in battle rating if thats the case and their launcher to br3 instead of being down at br1 and br2
They wonât have any AT rifle at BR1. So until devs give us replacement, it must stay.

well if youre in BR2 would wouldnt have the launcher and if you want someone with more than 1 shot without having to reload you can use the S-18 thats actually fun to use and can carry its own weight.
germans have plenty of AT rifles at BR1 so I dont see the point of trying to down tier it especially since it can hold up to most br2 tanks and destroy most of the allies tanks in any BR

ill say it again S-18 can destroy most of BR2 tanks and when it comes to allies tanks it can destroy their tanks up to BR3. the German tech tree has so much stuff in it compared to other nations yâall just want everything to be on easy mode when it comes to playing it. BR1 they got good tanks that can shred infantry, their bolt action rifles are equal to other rifles. in BR2 its the same thing with the exception with the SMG shooting slow, they got good MG with decent sights and it continues go keep getting stronger the higher up the battle rating you go.
I guess most people take that over the inability to shoot without using crap-bipods and 90mm or so of penetration plus the possibility to OHK tanks.
Two is not plenty.

the S-18 shouldnât be BR 1 simple as that it out performs Russians and allies AT rifles.
And Japanese AT rifle outperforms Ger, US and USSR ones.
And USSR AT rifles outperform Ger and US ones.
Itâs hard to draw a line here.

You dont have to use the bipod when you can just lay down. Other nations only has 1 AT rifle

well you dont fight vs the japans so you wouldnt see the AT rifle in battle. the USSR rifle doesnât out perform it at all and if you used the USSR AT rifle at br3 youâll hardly do anything while S-18 can and will destroy tanks
Well honestly it is only 1 AT rifle, since the 39 is just the 38 with more ammo, not to mention, its also the single worst AT rifle in the game.
To go on, the PTRS is at BR1, so the Solothurn who has to deal with extremely buggy and broken bipod shit more than belongs at BR1.

thats a disingenuous argument and you know it, most maps dont suit lying prone to shoot AT rifles, namely because your a sitting duck while doing so, grass obscures your vision and you have no mobility, and shooting from windows is far too buggy to be relied on.

If type 97 outperforms PTRS, PTRS outperforms PzB and Boys. Difference in penetration is exactly the same (targets arenât of course then we go into the rabbit hole).

I did say the SMG have a slow rate of fire. germans has the most options for guns and play style
bringing down the AT rifle to br1 would make it overpowered and unfair for players while in br2 its in the perfect spot with power and options. its not extremely buggy because you can still shoot it, lay down and shoot it, bipod it on the ground and shoot it, and go to windows and bipod it there and shoot it without a problem. I did see someone mention the recoil is wrong so it will get another buff
It canât reliably destroy them, it needs to hit specific spots and do ticklish damage to the ammo or fuel tank or crew, their tankers will have a good laugh and murder your silly face with one mg burst and then go back to sip their tea in their m3 lee. There are no reason to pick laughably bad rifle with 55mm of pen when you can use grb-39 and nuke them in 1-2 shots, frontally ofc.

BR1 is irrelevant as itâs always matched vs BR2 and Japan is the best at BR1, Soviets have superior tanks and planes there
Smgs are worse, rifles are worse (canât compete vs WINchester, new Fedorov Rifle and Enfield), best tank got taken away (unless you have Stalingrad version), mg13 is crap when compared to smgs and rifles, besides Japan has amazing Hotchkiss M1922 that is better than anything Germany has at BR2, Soviets have RPK1943 (better than MG13) and Breda. There are a reason why people are playing more of Ger BR3 than BR2
Oh really then tell me at what BR i can get gun similar in power to Fedorov MG/Avtomat, Fedorov Rifle BR5, RD-44 and PPS-42 drum, Super Hei Automatic or NKVD Tommy/Tommy 100 of USA Paratroopers. Iâm waiting.

youre a sitting duck standing as well tying to shoot a tank. laying down makes it harder for bots to shoot you unless theyâre near you and when it comes to tanks shooting you they will have a problem finding out where theyâre getting shot at since they canât hardly see the ground unless they come out the hatch
