SKS-30 useable by vehicle crews

Russian tankers and pilots need a rifle option.

…why?

I admit it’s not crucial and not at all realistic. But the Germans and Americans have options. Shoot, the Americans can essentially bring a full sized rifle into the cockpit. (Pedersen device Springfield) There’s a single GO rifle that’s available for the Russians and none for the Japanese. The SKS is a short carbine so by game logic it should be an option. So really the “why” is about consistency.

Wait really? Well ain’t that just dumb. If anything the Carbine’s should be the outliers here as…that’s literally what they were used for…anyways, most tanker weapons were more compact than your average carbine (American Carbine’s being built different) and were more often than not a pistol and/or an SMG. All the metric nations didn’t have rifles small enough to give to tankers

And yeah I’ll say it again the Pedersen Device being given to tankers is dumb

lol yeah I agree it is silly. The LAD is usable by Russian pilots which may be even more ridiculous. And yeah you’re not wrong at all about carbines. Overall I’d like to see all carbines usable by vehicle crews. Definitely don’t think it would break anything if it were implemented.

Crew weapons need to be compact.

Aint nobody got time to jump out of a burning tank’s hatch with a full size rifle.

To be fair, he did say carbine

It is indeed ridiculous. However the new SKS is one of the most compact Russian rifles so it’s more feasible than any TT rifle. Once again, it’s just more about consistency.

Hmmm. I think it should be a bit more of a case by case basis, but, I do think IF we were to go such a route then each nation should have a carbine that their tankers can have

Cause yeah not all carbines are created equal. Guns like the M1/M2 Carbine, M1E5 Garand, super short/foldable guns like that were literally made for those purposes. Easy to understand those being given to tankers. However, guns like the Karabiner98k definitely ain’t going in a tank with ease. Lol

Exactly. I agree completely. By game logic, it makes sense.

The Germans have access to the VG 1-5, so it seems fair to give the other nations a tech tree option or an event option.
