m9 one side of a panther will always blow up it’s ammo.
and… with pretty much all of the german tanks you will ammo rack any allied tank if hitted in the ammo.
brave of you to assume you’d be able to disable anything with a firefly
let alone pen the turret on that initial angle.
sure feels like it…
it’s also kinda " funny " because for some reason, out of no where, the loader will have sometimes struggles to reload normally, and other times reloads without any issues ( showing a red arrow even though perks are there and the crew didn’t took any losses )
but if you lose the loader, the reload will have two red arrows instead of one.
nah I just empty my M9 Bazooka’s rockets on a Panther’s side ammo rack for no effect… I had to finish it with a Det pack.
Damage model comes from war thunder and ammo destruction does not always result in tank destruction. Although very rare this can happen.
Panther’s turret is so trolly that it is quite difficult to pen even though it should. People complained about KV-1 turret being too thick but Panther has the same issue.
The more ammo you hit the higher the chance of explosion, also your shot went through the ammo and didn’t explode on the ammo rack which is why there was no chain reaction.
The turret moved as shown in the x-ray camera window. The x-ray camera have been buggy since they introduced the black module color to represent the destroyed module state. Sometime modules are not destroyed but badly damaged yet they’re incorrectly displayed in black.
tanks still shoot with pitch black cannons and/or breeches
tanks drive with black engines and transmissions
The module system is just bugged rn, accept it
