Skill based matchmaking

Im new to the game, but im already pulling my hair out from the fact, 3/4 of my team (me included) are new guys just trying the game, and the enemy team is full of guys, who have maxed everything just curb stomping our team into oblivion, getting blown by anti personal mines that i cant even buy, and while i try everything i can, we still get destroyed so much, that im thinking of punching a hole through my monitor
There should just be something, that would stop the people, who sweat the game 24/7 go against newbies, who didnt even play for 10 battles

Welcome to the community!

Don’t assume that someone with a name decorator is actually any good at the game. It’s a sign that they might be, sure, but it isn’t a guarantee.

Unlock the Engineer squad as soon as you can. That way you can build rally points, ammo crates and other defensive structures that will help your team. As you progress, the engineer becomes even more powerful, being able to deploy MG nests, AA and AT guns and even more useful structures. These soldiers are key to winning battles.

Remember, rally points win matches. In that second screenshot, nobody on your team built a rally point. That’s a sure way to lose a match.

I’d avoid using vehicles until you’re more familiar with how the battles work.

Send your AI squadmates to attack destruction points, this way you can still help defend them when they’re setting the explosives.

You’ll always get veteran players playing low-BR games. For a lot of players, the best, and most historically accurate guns are there. Look out for other players calling for rallies, ammo crates, and enemy locations. More often than not, that’ll be a more experienced player calling for them. Fight and build accordingly.

Remember to mark potential enemy locations for other players (and your AI) to help them know where they are.

As you progress with XP and the research tree (TT), you’ll unlock more fun ways of dismembering your opposition. TNT, explosive packs, and AP mines are your friends. It doesn’t take all that long to get far enough into the TT to unlock those items.

Most of all, persevere. The game is a marathon, not a sprint. This isn’t BF or CoD, strategy and tactics are key to winning. E.g. Don’t sprint headlong towards a point, flank and use cover instead.

Tell your AI to hold positions slightly away from an objective until you clear it, then send them in after you. This will help you capture a point quicker.

I’m sure many other of our esteemed forum dwellers will have even more helpful information for you.

Just keep fighting, soldier!

to win as a new player it is impossible without team work always try flanking points ( the edge of the map on either side lol ) research rifles first so you can unlock engineer and your bots WILL NOT help you so they’re basically spies for the enemy giving your location away

Just to be clear, this won’t improve even if you’ve been playing for a year and have improved everything too.

Welcome to hell… sorry, I mean enlisted!

If it was US BR1, you have to accept it. I have the largest amount of defeats (and as a consequence desertion) in American BR1. Recently, I came back to playing as a US. BR1 is a nightmare (your team doing nothing or you play with bots against real players). Only BR3 is quite pleasant.

Typical BR1 for the US:

One of my hobbies is playing USA BR2 and helping new players there.

US BR 1-2

I rarely play level one or level two allies, even though my level one is pretty much stacked with premium assaulter squads along with a couple engineering squads. I’ve played 3 1/2 years, but I can rarely win with my allies at those two levels. It sucks, especially when both levels offer weapons I love to use, but I instead play allies level three or five, and leave my lower level playing to the Germans or Soviets, however I rarely if ever play level one with any faction anymore. Level three Allies got much better once the Dev’s finally shit canned the soft rule, as I don’t get mauled by level five Japs any longer. :yum:

See.

The point is not about being new. In enlisted, you can easily dominate the match even with pretty underwhelming equipment.

The issue is- there’s huge number of totally careless individuals who have no clue what they’re doing. And they are not even newbies. They’re across all BRs.

I give you one recommendation. Find yourself a competent teammate(s) and play in group. It’s going to be far less frustrating.

SBMM is total nonsense. It wouldn’t work with current MM and with current size of playerbase.
