I’ve restarted playing enlisted about a month ago, playing not too often, but not too rarely.
Since I already completed most of the soviet TT and pretty much all of the USA TT I’ve been playing BR 3 for Germany (They have the real cool vehicles aswell, shame everyone blows them up so eaisly).
Long story short, I have not recived a single victory as germany since then (European servers) and curiously I’ve been only getting matches against the soviets.
The problems are numerous, but the most prevelant is the mismatch in people’s skill level.
The suggestion is simple: Implement SBMM alongside the BR system (probably based on K/D rather than win/loss ratios) so worse players don’t play against sealclubbers and I don’t have to be curbstomped every time I want to earn some silver & people like me can enjoy this game, cuz the concept is beautiful
Unfortunately, Enlisted does not have the player count necessary to allow for separating matchmaking even more than BRs already do.
Also, I think the problem you’re running into is more so the difference in strength between Soviet BR III equipment and every other faction’s equipment. Soviet BR III sees a ton of play because they have better equipment in almost every single category. They have the best SMG (PPSh Box), the best Rifle (SVT 38), share the best AT (Panzerfaust 60), best Tank (KV-1), and a better Fighter (Yak-9T) than their German opponent. Oh, and they also can give that SMG or Rifle to the only 2 paratrooper squads in the entire game that can change their primary weapon. Which makes them ALSO BR III.
Game needs a sweeping nerf to low BR Soviets more than any matchmaking changes
Worst idea ever, because how come people still don’t understand that K/D means nothing. By this logic it’s better that the system looks at how many rally points a person has built instead lol.
I play majority level two Germans and level three or five Allies, and in the past month I can hardly win with Germans, but am winning 8 out 10 with my Soviets, so, I am playing majority level two Soviets the past month. The power seems to shift back and forth.
To me, a big step towards making games more balanced would be to create a “Solo player only” option right next to the “choose any faction” options. This way, if you choose, you no longer have to face “Stacked” groups as it would eliminate them from the game options, and those who don’t care can just leave the “Solo only” box unchecked. Seeing that I always play solo, would always choose solo match only.
actually not having SBMM is pure toxicity… shit players getting constantly matched against players with some skill and getting destroyed is not exactly fun for shit players. only players with some skill are against SBMM cause they can have large impact on the game.
i am one of the people who would like some kind of SBMM implementation into the game, but it is simply not possible.
small playerbase that cant support overly complex MM(faction vs faction MM + BR MM + SB MM)
K/D ratio is unreliable. you could farm kills with vehicles and get extremely high K/D ratio or you could snipe from behind to get high K/D. not to mention your K/D would fall off when paired against same skilled players.
How many played matches you have on each faction? I keep watching your I have x w/r with germans or soviets but then it changes after some matches, it makes it seem like your match count is low to change so easily, but I am curious regardless.
Most of my matches are with the Germans, followed by the Allies, then Soviets and a rare appearance with the Japanese. A month ago, my w/l % with the Soviets was below 63%, but the past month I have won a lot of games with them and lost very few. I haven’t played Germans in a couple weeks.
Wait. Let’s get back to your proposed “idea”. Are you really suggesting to group people into one battle based on their K/D? In that sense, that’s it? Please explain, maybe I’m too old to understand, - but you’re saying that people who just farm kills in this game, which consists of other complex elements that determine victory, like say smart tank play, or intelligently used engineer squads, with smart traps, and rally points, or people who can just get to the point and capture it - you’re suggesting to suddenly turn these aim-bots into “good veteran players” just based on how many pixels they killed? And that would be “skill based?”
Well, read it again so you understand what nonsense you’re suggesting, no offence
