SITREP №1 - Operation "Transparency"

When will we update to the next version?

So no to map veto for now - only some like dislike preference.
But yes to penalties to deserters.

This in NOT triple-whammy of requested features, this is barely half of one feature that would make impementing the other even have some sense.

Im not looking forward to that, even if i don’t care for any desertion penalty at that point, you could ban me for months, i refuse to play train and other broken maps.

Will Su-9 (1946), Rocket Pershing, AS, HoRi be separated into a non-ww2 BR soon?

So all maps for all brs was always a done deal, wasn’t it?

Considering it’s been removed from matchmaking for a year now, even if you wanted to you wouldn’t be able to

Wow, a transparency update like this covering reflections, plans, and general information is something long-time players have wanted for years.

Massive improvement and very appreciated. Things like this build trust between the company and its players.

Squad experience

In the coming quality of life update, the long-awaited balancing in experience requirements for various squads will arrive. Squad experience will then be based fully on that squad’s place in the research tree, and any legacy squads will also follow suit.

Then will there be a conversion system to allow us to use the excess squad upgrade points? Seeing those exp stored away idle and unusable is a bit frustrating.

Map veto system…disappointing but expected

Nothing about custom belts? Fixing plane gunners?

Train mode is just a spawntrapping mess, it will remain bad unless a major overhaul happens.

I fear that with map veto, some players will abuse the system to only play very open maps and cycle aircraft.
During the one week test period, playing Tunisia was very not fun as Axis because of constant HVAR spam. The obvious solution to this is limiting the suspended armament of aircraft on too open maps.

Sure, the majority of people are just complaining about another form of HE spam but the true bad thing about the meteor is its turn capability for being a jet.

In no circumstance should a jet be out turning ANY japanese fighter.

Or maybe i’m wrong and the meteor had a ridiculous turn time… not sure.

I cannot stress this enough I want the devs to add new clothing and hats for the customization for all factions due to the fact they get not that much in ways of that for west allies, axis and japan I don’t want to do them bc the current selection feels bad it doesn’t help it seem like they remove more and more of such

I want a Make Enlisted a Better Place update dedicated to more customization for factions clothing options with voice changeability

Please consider doing something with the lack of squad types for all nationalities!

Either bring back legacy squads or implement a system for switching out nationalities of squads for their subfaction or vice versa! The latter is preffered to avoid squad bloat!

Vehicles are still being driven/flown by squads of the wrong nationality, such as the recent Meteor only for a US squad!

Have no fear, it will be only for premium accounts, and only 1-2 map veto.
There are sometimes 5 variations of same map - North South West East Destruction Invasion Conquest

Have fun, but don’t you dare desert

Yes! Legacy squad acquisition… i do not see anything mentioned here for an understandable reason as only a niche group wants it

Well. It just feels off.
Apart from the cave map, who mostly causes issues due to the AI, most maps in Moscow and Tunisia were fine-ish, at least for the vehicles and guns that they currently face. Regarding Berlin, some claimed that Berlin is actually more fun with low BR vehicles so maybe there is that.
Map changes were also based on the roadmap but at this point, there are no real gameplay- or map-changing features on the roadmap beyond maybe map filter and I fail to see how that one affects map gameplay to begin with.

But almost two-thirds of the bug fixes related to AI were fixing their path issues, their perception and their ability to block people’s view or block engineer buildings. I think the blocking part alone was already “fixed” at least once this year and yet here we are. Therefore, how should be reflect on the past AI “fixes” if these issues are still a thing in 2025? And how would that look for the other bugs that require fixes?
My point is do the devs now finally have a proper final solution for the AI because these promises are becoming unbelievable after five years.

This needs to be applied to everything from tanks to planes, from APCs to bikes and AT guns.

These must be free and with fixed sizes/location options.

Unless I can ban Stalingrad completely for BR 3-4 and 4-5, the system doesn’t matter.
