So I just realised that eastern front was famous for sinking in snow and mud. Can we add that? Maybe not for vehicles as their mobility is already shit but it would be nice to at least have a proper animation for infantry. Now they just casually jog through the knee height snow.

Everyone would hate it. I could see some areas have “Deep mud” or “Deep Snow” which has the same effect as shallow water.
Unless you’re just suggesting animation wise.
I mean, animations are a must have.
But I’d like to have also some areas (not the whole map obviously) that make moving a bit slower. Though I don’t expect devs to implement this because it would hinder the run and gun gameplay.

the problem is we would need a weight mechanic, i mean having some with a pistol moving through mud at the same speed as a machine gun is just silly
It may seem a bit ridiculous to think that the difference in weight between a pistol and a machine gun will change the depth at which they sink into the mud.
Even if you were not carrying any weapon, you would still sink under the weight of a human being.
In a realistic gamemode, where the equipment and uniforms is accurate, and gameplay is slower and more hardcore - which attracts players more passionate about WW2 would be a great idea. (Also piles of snow can also slow down)
In the current enlisted arcade mode, which is filled with sweats, it would be a hated addition.

Yeah i hate sweaty tryhards too. I make it my mission to ruin their game as soon as i spot them. Dropoing paras on cap before everyone has a chance to retreat? Meet my AA gun that i built just for you.
150-180 for the soldier - 15 misc gear - 30lbs mg34 12 pounds for 2 100 belts
so being generous that brings it to 200 LBS with a pistol and 254 with mg, 264 with a tripod
