Since we get the "high caliber update" with new heavy machineguns, will we get new AA flak cannons too?

Hello comrades!

As the title says. It would be great to have other new flaks and AAs for the factions. Too sad every campaign and faction uses the german 4x flak instead of the ones of their own countries…

i think it was mentioned that this update there will be nation specific AAs which is cool.maybe even SPAAs since there is the russain GAZ WITH THE dshk

variety would also be great like for example you could build the 4x20mm flak or the 3,7 flak cannons

would be cool to see something similar to the heavy machine guns but for AT squad for example engi in at squad could build letsay 8.8 flak or 17 pounder

Yes, there was a mention. Basically it was saying that they are looking at adding additional fortifications specifically to certain squads that also have an engineer present. Similar to how the new HMG will work. It was said that the AT squad is also on the list to get upgraded with something. Most likely this is another field gun, perhaps of larger caliber.
