I would really like to see a all women squad of the Volunteer Fighting Corps for Japan and the French Resistance for the Allies. That would be dope.

I mean we could just place an overrun and encircled unit as the partisan group, since lord knows the Japanese werent one to give up easily.

I am aware, its iconic, but having a bunch of old grannies with bamboo spears might not quite fit the atheistic of the game.
I think it would be better to simply make the partisan group for Japan be a historically overran unit from one of the many islands who wouldnt surrender and would go on to wage a guerrilla war. Maybe some units from Bougainville come to mind. Could be a nice excuse to finally get a digger squad too.

I’d like a mode (because I think the Japanese would truly shine here) where they have to fight in a guerilla fashion, it’s not about control points for the Japanese, they simply kill as many as they can then use their tunnels to go disrupt another area of the island. It kind of sounds like invasion but I’m not sure how else to describe it.

Its an interesting idea, but idk how you would do that while remaining in a short fast game like enlisted, maybe an attack on a US supply depot, give them a time limit to destroy as much of the supply as they can, both sides then receive bonus RP and silver based on the amount of supply they either protected or destroyed in that battle.
Would certainly spice up the content, and I could see this being easily adapted to the other fronts easily enough. Would also be interesting to have a more 360 degree battlefield as well instead of just assaulting down the magic corridor.
