I understand that they might be OP if sweatlords change enemy’s uniforms to neon yellow to shoot them easier.
But personally I’m only interested about changing some red banners with white circles.
Modding gurus, might this be possible?

no.
we haven’t found a way to change textures. ( at least, outside clothing and vehicles )
but if it’s like the audio modding, once find the method, most likely it will be possible.
several helpers and developers hinted that in the future we will get a dedicated client for textures.
but, nothing has been really shown and no ETA is available in this particular moment on when that dedicate client will be available.
