Japan DOES need more plane it’s true…
There’s sort of a black hole between br2 and 4. No plane worth mentioning (and their attackers might all be overtiered).
Since all their tanks are pretty bad, I’d even be in favour of adding a meme level super tank for them. Ppl complain about the ho hi (allies mains only), but the thing is just a TD with no lmg and soft top…
people mostly complain the fact that it never existed outside the head canon of a korean attention whore

I mostly laugh at those crying it’s “op”.
before super pershing you can make the argument since that is deceptively mobile for it’s weight, had KTH tier armor and a good gun with a decent reload only things it lacked is the turret and coax; but since we do have super pershing you can’t really say that in good faith
Pretty much.
But even before, I eye rolled when I saw ppl saying it was op: it’s the only decent tank Japan get, and isn’t even a real tank, but a turret less tank destroyer without mg… that has such soft top (a part of it opens up when the canon aim up/down) that regular arty and regular mortars (allies need a 80mm mortar now that I think of it) can take it out.
It’s a doom gun, well protected in the front, sure… But nowhere near versatile as a full fledged tank, like my beloved Pershing (or now super Persh).
I struggle more when a king tiger appears, as a comparison
