Ppl diss mortars squads a lot, but… I actually love how versatile those are with the specialists they can include.

i saw the paratrooper for normandy, and i was wondering my self, what can i do with it? who can i use?
found out that mortars have the uniform. so i stucked with those.
plus, they can take out tanks.
so… they have limited weapons, but still effective against everything while remaining historical accurate 
i’m … not sure nor can prove that paras did had the 82 mm mortar though.
i sunked like, 3 mils between the normandy and berlin paras. for the perks. they are death.
i got scared by using g41s with no recoils and speed loading.
my soldiers are aliens. not even people.
and that stg with 0 recoil it’s just… chef 
I’m trying to make many different Commonwealth brs myself, but it’s proving difficult…
Not because I’m lacking funds.
But because I’m starting to lack real Brit speaking men (I know I can fill my squads with USA men, but I don’t wanna! They must SOUND Brit!)
I truly hope we can choose our soldiers nationality at some point.
I might have the same problem with Italy… making more than 1 full 10 squads preset might be difficult… They MUST speak Italian!!!
There’s always some events and premiums to fill up, but… yeah.

luckely as i suspected the merge wasn’t going to give natives british options, i did that during my intense grind of tunisia back in the campaign days.
so i have all speaking british for my brs.
i have this problem …
my italians aren’t actually fully of italians.
mostly because we never had anti tank troopers for italy beside the anti tank trooper gold order.
and i believe few other classes as well.

Not sure how viable BR1 setups are when you always get matched with BR3, but feels nice and authentic nonetheless.
The British voices are far superior to the US ones. The US voices and that high pitch “HA! Victory will be ours” sounds so horrible. I swear Gaijin intentionally made Americans sound shrilly and weak to me. Are there mods to change the US voice-overs?
