Thank you! I debated it for a while, but the healing speed is generally fast enough for me to take the run speed which allows me to get in position faster, and dip between covers better to either shoot or heal.

Idk. To me, meta = bolt actions because I’ve stubbornly used those for as long as I’ve started playing simply because I like to play with them, find em fun.
But others say bolties aren’t meta, but historical.
So… all my campaigns use mostly “non meta” weaponry (except Berlin. It’s full auto here.)
- Mannlichers/Lee Enfields in Norm.
- Mannlichers (rifles) / Mosin starter carbine in Stalingrad
- carcanos m38 / Lee in Tunisia
- mix of many bolties in Moscow (so many good ones here) but also mkbs and Avs when facing tryhards.
- Arisaka 38 or type1 / Garands… (ok I cheat) Pacific
- cancerous autos in Berlin.
Just cause I like them. Riflemen squads are underrated: they cap faster and are in fact better than assaulters for outdoor caps. Bots use rifles quite well too…

I see! Never get my head around that perk tho. Don’t think any of all soldiers i have got that one.
Because 95 % of the time you are sprinting (and that perk has minimal effect on your sprint speed)
And the scenario you describing i think climbing speed is more useful.
But what do I know 
However my new favourite perk is (50+ crawling/crouching speed). Try to acquire it to all my soldiers now, esp assualters.
Extremley useful when you peaking around corners/objects (like you do all the time).

The sniper Mosin is still the better choice than later sniper rifles. Sure it doesn’t reload fast like Type 97 or Type 99 but the Mosin hits hard especially when fully upgraded.

yup but one totally suffice for me 
The way I use my sniper squads are situational with rally points and ammo boxes are built by my own engineers from my main squads or someone else’s. I get to use them sometimes when I need to do counter sniping or having to do my bolt action BP missions(nowadays Japan Pacific is my way to go alongside melee one with long Type 99 rifle and the swords).
I’m not sure if T-34-85(ZiS S-53) is considered non meta considering there are tanks with better hull armor like the Panther and Tiger or even the IS-2. There’s also this T-28E vs T-34 debate in Moscow where some say T-28 is better with the MGs while others especially the ones used to the T-34s across all campaigns prefer the 34.

i made a AT squad in moscow as axis 2 engis and 2 ATs all bolties ofc,also made a “historical” axis squad group leader with mp40 mg gunner with mg34 and rest is k98s
