Not sure why, but shovels can’t be used in melee effectively (despite taking up the slot).
You can’t charge with them, damage to enemy infantry is quite weak and animation is same as digging. So a little consideration for devs ig?

Shovel charge would be nice.
I did beat someone to death with a shovel recently while we were both on fire.

Ok this sounds epic
I must have gotten lucky, because every time I kill with the shovel, I do it easier than with a knife. I would appreciate a shovel charge, because killing people with shovels is really funny.
