Browning wz.1928 when captured after conquer of Poland was named by Germany IMG 28(p). Don’t you think it should be named like this and not like polish version? Vz. 33 (base gun for Moscow, Germans) has name Gewehr 33/40 (German designation). I think other weapons should also change its name to German ones (for example ZB-26 as MG 26(t) ). So what you think about this idea?
Definitely a good idea, and I think that they’re considering doing this, but it’s an issue of rather low importance. As for the designation, if I recall correctly, the wz. 28 in the game is the later model with the “fishtail” type stock and AA sight mount on the barrel:

So it should be called leichtes Maschinengewehr 154/1(p) or le MG 154/1(p) in short.
That and also the other two guns that are named more less correctly - aforementioned Gewehr 33/40 which, as a Czechoslovakian rifle, should have the (t) at the end of its name, and the MP 34(o) which should receive two extra dots above o (Österreich - Austria). Plus about a dozen of other foreign weapons that are used by Germans in Enlisted and should receive their german name.
Yeah, you are right, it’s not very important but it is also not very hard to change.
its the same with the US 29th ID the 113 was no longer part of the 29th and it would not surprise me if it was meant to be the 116 as they were actually part of the 29th
