Many people focus on completing the tasks rather than trying to win the match and it would be fine if the tasks do help win it, but some are borderline sabotaging the team.
An example of such tasks is one where you need to kill an entire squad using only melee weapons which isn’t hard by any means, but it will take a considerable amount of time from the match.
By making it points-based (I think 2k-2.5k per star is good, but idk) and possibly an extra star for every won match would solve this problem and, in my opinion, would be better and encourage team play even more.
Of course, it goes without saying that playing the objective isn’t as rewarding as being blood thirsty sadly, but hopefully, with the extra star per win system, peeps will focus on playing it more.
Also, that would remove the daily limit, which is a plus.
(I’m newish to enlisted (BR II Grind all nations at the same time) but I thought I’d share my 2 cents, please don’t raise your pitchforks on me if I’m wrong about something :-[ )

While there are tasks that can be completed easily in one battle, and others that with good play can be done in one battle…
Most tasks are meant to be achieved over multiple battles. Some even demand it like be top X% of team for 3 battles.
People rush too much.
Making it score based will reduce engagement and people will just adopt optimum score farming strats instead of focusing on winning. Much as I like the attempt to improve things. Ultimately it does not encourage the player behaviour you wish it to.
If they increased silver earned from like rally points and playing the objective. Then we might see more team focused playing. But while Kill Counts reign supreme, that’s going to be what players gravitate to.

that is eliminate any single task that takes more than 2 battles to reasonable accomplish, or in case of kill a plane is unreasonable for a f2p
bolt action kills because it encourages high level players to play br1 and farm new players
no i am not taking bolt action rifles into well br2 3 4 5 just to complete the task, yes sniper rifles but its just not worth it to knee cap yourself by bringing bolties into higher br, instead of semi auto rifle for riflemen
I don’t like this idea, it’s just make the battle pass feel like any other event.
Not if you play Japan and bring Shin Guntos, or just take axes or something - it doesn’t detract from you at all if you do that. Personally I enjoy stuff like that, it encourages you to change up your playstyle. Bolt action kills make you switch to a lower BR, maybe bring in snipers or something. Special weapon kills make you bring out flamethrowers or ATRs. While I do think that some battle pass tasks like pistol kills would be better off removed I quite enjoy that, and I really don’t think it makes people avoid playing to win. People will do that anyway.
Something like this would probably just encourage players even more to play greedily just for farming points, like sitting in vehicles/AA all match rather than pushing objective, and basically just passively be carried by the team.
Removing the daily limit would also never happen. DF has the battle pass to boost daily numbers, that would go against the point entirely.
if it was points based you’d just see people greyzone camping with a tank or spamming 3 planes over and over again for a game or two and they’d log off for the day

Yeah there’d be no variety in gameplay or incentive to change anything up. Just farming. There could be other more effective changes made to encourage team play like increasing the frequency of the “Win X Games” task.
i just switch to germany and spam the schnellfeuer and artillery luger
Definitely not a bad one if you have event pistols lying around, but for newer players it’ll be significantly harder.
I have event pistols and still kit ALL my troops with the P38, it absolutely gets the job done.
