Currently its official given name is abit of a mouthful, and obnoxiously long in the Killfeed
A more suitable name could be simply Gewehr 43k as many in the community use or Gewehr 43(Kurz) similar to the PPS-42(Red)

That is all German words, except in english.
I believe all the numbers should be spelled out in German as well.

In Chinese, we prefer to call it “Kurz G.43”, simple and clear, everyone undersatand it at the moment they heard of it.
But Cebs! I like the funny long name!!!
For real though, I can see why it can get annoying really fast. It would makes sense to shorten the name to an easier readable form.

There are times where it has genuinely obstructed enemies in my screen before because too many people got killed with it in a short time span, it’s funny 100% but should be shorter
