Grinding levels for every single faction in every campaign is just horrible idea. You know that we have to also grind squads, their inventory, their level… are you kidding right? With such system you are literally forcing players to pick ONE campaign and one faction and stick to it till end. This is how I see and imagine, because I can not think about switching and unlocking stuff from 0.
My suggestion is to make ONLY campaign levels shared to both factions in all campaigns, you can make XP even more for that, but at least it will be only ONE major primary level to grind. I’m not asking for squads, equipment and everything else, just main campaign level… It will be still grindy ofc, but acceptable at least.
I’m playing from first day of OBT and I’m level 11 only in a one and only single faction, even thinking about switching and starting from 0 makes me sick. Please devs make this game more enjoyable

Nah. Then there wouldn’t be any replayability.
This system might be rough, but it works.

The amount of grinding needed to even level one campaign is already tiresome. Now you need to do this every single time for a new campaign. A better system would be like the one BF2 (2017) uses. You get some the same standard units for all campaigns which share progress but each campaign has unique units only available to that certain campaign. This fixes the grinding and still allows replayability because each campaign has their own special unit only playable there like having to play Normandy for STG-44s etc.
And when Tunisia comes out and the Germans are all maxed out running around stomping the new British players everyone will complain. The current version is the best system for how they want to do it.

Each campaign is essentially a completely separate game - you can play 1 or all of them at your choice.
so no thanks.

I don’t think sharing level is a good idea, but IMO we should share equipment, even if it would make the game a little silly with American troopers running around with Mosins (maybe people would willingly use springfields as they’re a better gun?).
Its kinda silly my Moscow arsenal of prewar K98’s, Vz24’s, and MP40’s is sitting in a warehouse somewhere while a bunch of Normandy guys need them.
No. Just please no. I am not joking when I say literally no one wants to see weapons shared amongst all factions. At that point you’d mine as well go play Battlefield V.

Then give it only to the axis forces, they’re all Germans so far so that’d work.
And as I and many others have said in every copy paste post like this one. When the Africa Campaign comes out and the Germans are running around with full upgrades, troops, and gear and facing all level 1 British troops, everyone is going to complain because its going to be an absolute stomp every match.

so the Axis can have full tech tree and squad development in every campaign just by completing 1 of them, while the allies have to start from scratch in all of them?
Just how much thought did you give to this??!!
Hey, not my fault countless nations kept trying to dogpile Germany during WW2 lol. Also mix-nation messery already exists.
Germans are running around with Italian guns, Polish guns…Americans are running around with British, etc.
Germans are, at present, running around with far more niche weapons and foreign guns than America would be, even if they had Russian guns.
I think the root of the issue here is that critical balancing classes are locked behind too many hours of grind. Why is the Rocket soldier not unlocked one or two stages after the tank? Sure, there are other ways to deal with tanks, but this class is designed to fight tanks. Pilots and Engineers, on the other hand, require more experience to use effectively, and are not so purpose-built to deal with specific threats (though don’t get me wrong, spawn bombing and forward spawn points are both very useful tools).
