First of all, if you wanna get all scientific and stuff lol - not enough sample size! Like 50 people voting is not enough, for any valid test group size. LOL ok?
Second, like no placebo, leading questions, leading topics, etc. OK? All scientific for ya lolol So, none of these polls are valid really. Handful of people voting is not anything.

Okay, witness my necromancy skills regarding first american shotgun.
First of all in comparison to TOZ, it definitely feels slightly weaker and less accurate (if we can even say so about shotgun), but its nothing drastic. It is partially solved by having 5 semi auto shots before having to reload, which does its job well enough on very short distances only, where it is a true beast (again, in comparison to TOZ that can also kill in slightly longer range). In any other situationā¦ it is lacking to say at least, which is why there might be concern about it being underpowered. Normandy simply lacks the environment that makes it work reliably (which is okay, its good Normandy is not extremely short range meatgrinderā¦ mostly). In comparison to TOZ, it requires you to be trigger-happy and semi auto enemy in oblivion because most shots to side or premium soldier are not going to reliably kill on one hit.
In conclusion, I definitely wouldnĀ“t nerf it, if anything it could use slight buff in base damage to make it more fit for Normandy environment. I wouldnĀ“t worry about it becoming overpowered when buffed, because I would still rather pick fast firing action bolt over shotgun in most Normandy situations simply because it is more reliable.

I mean it is definitely not a bad weapon, it is just being limited by environment. It works great in defense of bunkers or churches etc. But you can forget about hitting or killing anything on the same range as TOZ can even if you go for more shots.

Itās got like a hard range of what like 10 meters before youāre MAYBE landing a single pellet or so. The TOZ is still the Doom shotgun

Just as I said above when arguing with Erika
Auto-5 is okay but itās definitely not a true monster because itās just a very situational weapon which works only in bunkers
Not to mention when raiding bunkers, 6 out of seven soldiers die so Iāve had situations where I couldnāt even reliably use the Auto-5 because I needed a bolt action rifle to take out MG-42ās
If Auto-5 was in the battle of Moscow, it will probably be a monster but itās not a monster in Normandy

My thoughts exactly. It should receive small buff in damage to make it more reliable when actually reaching the target, but environment itself will prevent it from getting out of hand anyway, so it is extremely unlikely it would evolve into āauto shotgun meta.ā
As for TOZ, it is currently the only well performing shotgun, so it makes sense comparing it (luftwaffe drilling worked too but its not in the game anymore). But environment should be compared together with the said weapon so that could have been the case of your disagreement before?
I hope pump action is better than Auto-5

right. It was a good idea to release Normandy, before OBT. Now all the sides are balanced, just Moscow was not enough

i donāt think the wipe will become sooner than you might thing.
many people have still to test end game equipment.
which considering the past, gaijin or darkflow ( i really hate generalizing without knowing who to thank ) one of them is kind enough to give us a lot of time for testing.
so, donāt worry, i hardly think wipe will be soon.
it is truee that a new system of progression will be introduced. but we donāt exactly know when. so my guess is that our progress will not be wiped out until open beta.
and there are still some things to do before reaching the OB.

They were also kind enough to give us a long and painful grind.
Because I have to study for college, it took me 1 week just to research the engineer II squad in Moscow.
Giving us a massive grind, doesnāt allow players to give their opinions after they unlocked lvl. 18
If devs gave us a small grind, we would give our opinions much faster so devs can also gather information more quickly

what can i say, iām not in chargeā¦ but compared to many others games, those play test session are quite long. which it gives us that time needed to reach level 18.
donāt hate me. but i think that this system, is somewhat good for testing. because the more you are " stuck " with something, the more you know how to use it, pros, cons, and above all, being able to make an accurate judge because you actually spent time in there. rather than having everything while missing half of the things that we should test.
but of course, itās a personal opinion. and i somewhat agree that is long but effective.
I just got the Auto 5 in Normandy as well and I agree on the TOZ comparison. The TOZ works well enough outside, the Auto 5 really doesnāt.
It doesnāt even consistently OHK at short range either.

Progression system in general feels terrible. Takes forever to unlock new gear just grinding up the Campaign ladder.
To make things worse when ever I want to upgrade a guy I have to Sacrifice 2 more( why would you do this?)
Unit commander-" Hey HQ we have 3 guys here who qualified for academy training can we send them up?"
HQ- āsure we will get them trained up for youā
Unit Commander-" uh HQā¦? we only got one guy back from the academy.
HQ-āoh yeah we didnāt tell you we are sending the other 2 you have spent all this time training up to other unitsā

Gun upgrading is just as dumb when you get to higher tier upgrades its not even guaranteed that it will upgrade what did the factory forget how to put the parts of the weapons together and break all your parts in the process.
