I love the Ju-87 vs IL-2 duel
It’s the only thing I can call asymmetric balance because those 2 planes have very different payload options
Everything else is mirror gameplay
Except MP-41 vs PPD which is asymmetric UN-balance

I’ve done that a lot in Moscow- park a tank against a door to deliberately allow it to be destroyed and permanently barricade it.
But Pumas are climbable so it shouldn’t have been a total block.
Just cover the rest of the hole with barbed wire that can’t be detpacked now

I agree, these polls are NOT the community. People should quit playing these polls like they mean something. Advisory only, they don’t represent jack.
Handful few register for forums, even handful less post anything, less vote. So not represnation.

Do you really think people who made that poll gone around and interviewed 2 million citizens of Paris (which is the population of Paris)?
No!
They interviewed a group of people from different town quarts (for example: 10 people from east side, 10 people from center…)
I know these polls are never 100% correct
But they are 80-90% correct especially when poll has 40-100 voters

As such is representative voting.
Parlementary vote attendency rate in my country is like 50%, and they don’t suddenly say “oh these don’t count as we didn’t have enough votes”
Polls are much better at gauging the interests of players than counting comments as you can get a 10x larger ammount of people to vote than to comment

No, they did what all modern PACs do and cherrypicked their sample group to support the result they wanted.
depends on the poll and how you use the results imo.
Barebones polls like “is this overperforming or underperforming” are good, but when you start polling specific solutions like you see here all the time, whoever makes the poll always puts too much weight on the winner being the be-all-end-all solution when voters were railroaded into it.
In case of my polls
I get 45 votes but all comments are written by 2-3 users
That’s why I’m making these polls. Just by reading comments, devs can’t know what all players want

I hate when people do that. If people voted for Panthers in Normandy that means people want panthers in Normandy. No manipulation and railroading in that

I can’t remember who it was but a while back someone pulled up their poll and started flaunting “this is what the community aGrEeD tO so it’s what darkflow should do”
Thinking about it now, good polls should be refined based on feedback, and solution polls should be a yes-or-no question of “would this work” for each idea.

I have serious doubts we will ever see t-34 in Moscow, Panther in Normandy or Maxim instead of DP-27
But that doesn’t mean I can’t make polls
Dont get me wrong. Having polls is still better than not having any of them. But results definitely should not be interpreted as ‘wish’ or ‘wholes community opinion’. Polls are basically helpfull to prioritize and identify critical issue, which would allow (sometimes, not always) to start working on it earlier than before.
