Shall we discuss the new training system? - From Marc1p4n over reddit

greetings, with this post, i just would like to inform what @Keofox tried to show us in the feedback section:

although though the length of messages and everyone posting there ( as they should ) it’s hard to notice it. so i decided to make it one post about it since i think it’s quite important for everyone.

the link brings you over Reddit, and this is what’s " inside " :

Friends. We’ve noticed your great interest in the new soldier training system that we’ve added to replace the outdated Academy, and we want to compare it with the old mechanics using a clear example.

The main and most important thing. The idea behind the new system is simplicity. We wanted to get rid of all the unnecessary randomness of getting new soldiers, hundreds of different soldiers with different specialties in reserve, with a long and confusing path to upgrade.

And we definitely succeeded! Now you will immediately see the price that you need to pay to train your soldier. Some of you are intimidated by these high numbers, but let’s calculate together whether it’s more >expensive than the old one.

r/enlistedgame - Shall we discuss the new training system?

In the new system, you need a lot, but MUCH less soldiers than in the old system. After all, now you won’t lose 2 out of 3 soldiers sent to the Academy for training. You are training the soldier that you want to be upgraded. But how much did it actually cost in the old system?

In the old system for training one soldier of any rank from level IV to level V, you would have to use 54 first level soldiers in the Academy. This is a lot and takes a lot of time, even if you don’t take into account the large randomness of obtaining soldiers from bronze orders(one out of 12 classes and 3 tiers).

In the new system, you see a clear price for the training of a particular soldier. For example:

Upgrading a soldier Tier I from level IV to V costs 18 bronze orders.

Upgrading a soldier Tier II from level IV to V costs 54 bronze orders.

Upgrading a soldier Tier III from level IV to V costs 72 bronze orders.

And the main thing. Taking into account the fact that, in this update we DOUBLED the speed of receiving Bronze orders, your costs accordingly also drop in half.

The last question that worries you sounds like this: “Where can beginners get soldiers if they don’t get them from Bronze orders?”
Receive them for Silver orders. Since in the new system you don’t need to donate soldiers for training, there is no need to call in hundreds of soldiers. For an average squad, 3-4 soldiers will be enough to fully staff it in, and according to our calculations, this won’t be difficult.

can be found at this link:

can’t really discuss much about this, cuz i think discussion should be made there, but i made this post so everyone can see it, and be informed on what and why happened.

cheers.

well, that is actually true, and somewhat okish.

happened to me to receive at least 7 cards from drops of dailys.

one of 5, and two of 1 on separate days ( in a lenght of 14 days ).

a bit harder in the first part of gainin soldiers, but eventually, easier on bronze parts ( unless you are running types II and III class soldiers. there’s no reason anymore to bring them as they are over expencive for me despite being a veteran. just yesterday i lost 54 cards for just one guy to make it level 5 of type II :upside_down_face:

either way, i think the game is going to be much shorter.

but once again, it’s just my opinion.

Yes - I agree - the extra perks for level II and III soldiers may well be not worth the cost of them any more!!

You are lucky. I never received any silver card (not to speak about gold) despite trying every single day. Only bronze cards and XP boosts.

someone made a count of the fp2 batlepass, 20 soldier in total, plus the additional if they manage to get over the level 60, doesn’t sounds too bad.

right?

How is ~20 guys over two and a half months not too bad?
That doesn’t affect you or I, but it monumentally fucks over anyone trying to get into the game
And they’re going to do the same thing to weapons

There is no way the devs actually think you get a passable amount of silver orders from daily rewards. If this is actually no joke the way they implemented to get more orders i might actually quit the game

because you can actually get one squad made out of 9 soldiers, plus one made out of 7 soldiers ( like majority of squads are ), and lastly, 4 soldiers for an additional squad.

it’s literally not that bad,

and if we consider that you can use those soldiers somewhere else and recycle, it’s actually easier than before.

because you had to use ammount of tickets ( bronze ones ) just to test your luck, and after, silver tickets to obtain one singular guy that could have been made out of 2 stars.

not to mention, each squad you unlock, they give you newer soldiers.

accademy was much longer than this newer process.
( i admit that i somewhat prefered the accademy, and this new system is much easier )

but it is what it is.

well you can think for your self.

i ain’t the one getting mad behind simple choises though.

perhaps i should ask you the same question :woman_shrugging:

literally:

.>gain less silver order
.>removes huge RNGs and Tidy Accademy system
.>gain MORE flexibility and make the veterancy more faster unlike before

arE yoU mEnTAl ?

perhaps gaved me an idea, for 10/20 bronze card, and we could use the previous RNG random drop of troopers.

could work as well. although if it has been removed, there’s a reason.

.>Thinks 20 guys in 2 and a half months are enoguh to sustain the game.
.>Claims to be on a healthy mental state

Nevermind that this is split over 4 campaigns with two factions each

this

welllllllllllllllll

i can’t argue over with that, i have to agree.

which, 10 euros for bp aren’t that much. i think it’s somewhat of a stonk.

and again, you do earn soldiers from squads that you unlock

it’s not like you end up with no spare soldiers and ask for exchanges somewhere on the road?
