Setting bombs

It seems that it would be benificial to gameplay if you racked up point when setting or disarming bombs like when you are capturing a point. I notice a lot of players will avoid doing it because they can stand near it making points killing enemies. Noone likes doing it since it takes so long and its unrewarded. Or am I missing noticing the points?

Agreed. There should be more incentive to set or deactivate explosives. Maybe a small ticker, +5 per second or something?

That’s a good idea, another suggestion is to get bonus points for killing a player who is either actively defusing or arming a bomb to reward people who pay attention to the objectives

Best suggestion for score change I’ve seen in ages, including the follow-on suggestions - well done!

I don’t know how something as essential has been overlooked for so long. The players need to be rewarded for arming and disarming the bomb, that’s a must. Otherwise what’s the incentive of doing it in the first place? I like Lokal’s suggestion. Each second we’re risking our troops arming/disarming the bomb we should be earning points. And when it finally detonates (or is deactivated) we should be getting an extra amount.

Agree. Engineers should also get faster arming/disarming speed.

It’s becoming counter-strike game.lol

The bomb mode is really silly. In a war, when it comes to destroying a target (especially when there are so many soldiers on both sides), there are so many types of explosives to choose from, yet soldiers are made to manually install time bombs. This really doesn’t conform to common sense.

because its a game. and the game just become game.
