Seriously whats wrong with Pacific War

I have a screenshot were im the only real player on the Japanese side while the American side was full of console players. No one wants to play in such server. Another thing is the GMC guns can shoot through walls? Fix this because again its pathetic to see a game thats suppose to fill a match with bots instead of making a queue like in CoD or battlefield.

Solution is simple, don’t play Axis in Pacific War till developers do anything related with balancing this shitfest.

they are 50 calibre guns designed for anti aircraft work. what did you expect when the walls are literally as thin as paper if they are not made of stone

M13 damage model is still busted.
Even with the Chi-Ha, where I can soak up .50s all day if I hull down, I just can’t destroy them and have a hard time even taking out crew.

That’s the same with all Japanese tanks. The only thing Japan has that can kill them consistently is the AT rifle.

yeah i have a 67% win rate playing solo in axis, its not too bad but you definitely run into those unfortunate games.

I would expect similiar effect from 20mm HE rounds… yet in enlisted they act like shit.
I mean penetration in similiar, but there is no splash at all…

It’s not that there’s an issue so much with BALANCE, it’s more of an issue of INCENTIVE.

Most of the Japanese weapons seem actually quite powerful, (their scoped MGs are terrifying), plus they have swords and Ni05, access to the same mines and grenades as Allies, etc. The only thing lacking balance wise are the first tanks.

I’m not too sure why they gave AA tanks to start with, especially since you can’t effectively shoot down bombers with them. If you could, it would be quite different.

As I said, the issue is really about INCENTIVE. From the Ally side, it’s mostly killing bots so it’s pretty easy to grind both campaign levels and logistics orders. Meanwhile, those on the Japanese side are getting demolished and aren’t even really rewarding those that try.

Easiest solution: double (at least the logistics orders gained), for a while, and you’ll see the tables turn really quick, without even messing with balance.

YES, I know that logistics orders aren’t a big deal for veterans with thousands of them. It’s more for the mid-tier and new players trying to grind them out.

Boring, decent to awful maps (with cool features though), goddam ugly skins, the weirdest and most retarded campaign range ever, awful ugly skins, easy-to-kill and still annoying SPAAGs, ugly skins and useless hydroplanes.
See no point why I should play/ continue this apart from decent to useless/bad Japan stuff.

HE in general just doesn’t behave right.

Back to the M13 not caring about the Chi Ha’s 57mm: putting a shell into the turret shouldn’t just get soaked up by the turret. The crew is exposed, they should be mush from it.

My Japanese army’s win rate is 86%, and the US army is 94%
small differences
But I still complain that the Japanese are too weak because they have bad weapons

What weapons are you qualifying as “bad”? They have a few of the best weapons in the game!

for example?

Their scoped MGs, swords, etc.

Plus the Type 11 acts like it suppressed if you’re on console. You can barely hear it!

Cool, so why not use them against BAR and Thompson? When a samurai with a sword charged at me, I’d happily rip him to shreds with a .45 bullet

They hold their own in close quarters and trenches, especially if you have increased run speed perk and vitality. Also they are great traversal tools.

The fact is that, just like the history of Japan, firearms eventually defeated cold weapons, and this insignificant advantage is not enough to be mentioned in the face of powerful automatic weapons.
The katana is a great tool, but not a weapon that can save a disadvantage
