Seriously, Tigers, IS1 and all BR5 US vehicles should be BR4

Panthers have some disadvantages over Tiger tanks, like very poor rear armor, ridiculously thin roof armor (16mm) and a very poor reverse speed - still, it makes no sense to have the Tiger tank one BR above it, Panthers can beat Jumbos reliably, Tigers can’t…

Then for all of the guys who bought the Sherman firefly let me tell you how sorry I am, this tank sucks big time - it should be able to easily beat Panthers and Tigers, yet because its gun lacks any post pen damage it performs worse than a regular sherman.

Devs, fix the firefly, and then make it sit in BR4.

Now the T34 85, this tank used to be OP, but today it just blows up only looking at it. I think the big design flaw here is for the devs to asume that this tank should have a strong turret armor, while in reality the tank in general wasn’t all that different performance wise to a Panzer IV H.
The T34s 100mm armor turret was not its strength, since Panzer IV had 130+ mm of armor penetration, instead its poor frontal armor was its weakness.
→ just like the upgunned Panzer IV, the T34 85 was a glass canon.

It fits exactly right between BR4 and BR3, which is a disaster for vehicle balance.
Personally I would put that vehicle into BR3 together with a buffed Panzer IV H and then lock Stalingrad into BR2 matches, but I guess that would be too much to ask for. I guess the easier solution should be moving the IS1 into BR4.

And lastly, why is there one Sherman 76 sitting in BR5 while the other sits in BR4?

The 76 mm gun is not good enough to justify BR5 in general, and all of these vehicles should move into BR4.

Br4 and br5 for the Germans are basically the same. Both Shermans belong in br4

Dont know mate, I think Panther vs Tiger II H is a significant difference in performance.

What I mean was that for the Germans br4 and br5 are separated arbitarily. They all get into the same br brackets

Yes but thats another topic, the BR matchmaker not working shouldn’t influence the theoretical powerlevel differences of BRs themselves.

Otherwise we only need 2 BRs to begin with.

If we’re going by WT BRs…

It’s almost as if a 5-BR 2-bracket system isn’t a good fit for tank with a wide range of BRs.

Engine power!
No seriously. The only difference between any of the basic Sherman variants is the engine. Gaijin uses that as an excuse to put each Sherman .3 BR higher in War Thunder making it so the M4A3 (76) W is at 5.7 for whatever unholy reason. Able to fight Tiger II’s it has next to no hope of penetrating unless it gets a lucky full broadside out of the Kraut driving it
So obviously since that’s how it works in WT, that must be how it works in Enlisted. It’s what the player base wants
Other than that we have no other BR V tank so they had to put SOMETHING there. Still weird we don’t have any A3’s either outside of the (105)
