I suggest we can have separate preset for every campaign (“separate” mean you can equip same weapon and soldier in different campaign, you don’t have to buy a hundred rifle and soldier). With a limitation that you can only equip HA equipment that matches the background of the campaign.
This will be an optional feature that will benefit historical enjoyer, so it won’t affect others that don’t care about HA.
But I know this probably won’t happen. Since we don’t even have separate preset for different BR
Interesting, how do you plan it would work mechanically? I wouldn’t want to buy several copies of the same gun for the same soldier on all German campaigns for example, that sounds expensive.
I don’t think they will, they are desperate to make money at any cost.
Any game worth its salt only pays for a weapon or uniform once and you can use it for whatever you want… Take Delta Force, for example, with 30,000 players daily at its worst… That game gives you a weapon with every breath and you can use them whit on any operator.
I think he’s referring to, for example, buying the BR2 Thompson just once and being able to equip it to any submachine gun-related character in the campaign.
I like the optics of outfitting my soldiers, requisitioning gear when needed and so on, makes me feel like a proper company commander, I don’t want to loose that.
You don’t lose that, whether you buy it once or several times, you will continue to arm your troops as you want, it doesn’t mean that everyone will arm themselves with the same weapon, just that you will buy it once.
There are games where you only have to buy weapons once, and they stay unlocked forever. You can equip your soldiers as many times as you want without having to buy them every time.
In Delta Force for example, once you unlock a weapon you can use it on any operator that is compatible with the weapon, simply arm both operators with it, you don’t have to buy 2.
In case of enlisted it would be like this: You unlock the Thompson which is American, and you could use it on all your American soldiers without needing to buy the number of soldiers you have.
It would be free to use for the campaign it belongs to, and you could simply take as many as you needed without paying each time.
