Unite the armies in the same campaign or separate the officer points. Because the armies and the campaigns are separated, but the points are not.
If I want to keep my rank, or go up, I can’t change my army or campaign, since I’m going to lose 100% of the time because I don’t have well-formed armies.
They do it to force you to pay, but they hurt the gameplay and the player.
Soon the the armies will merge into Germany, US, USSR and Japan.
All your progression will be kept and also the weapon and reinforcement orders will unite into a new currency.
Its Soon™
:o great!
you can see all the news about merge in this topics
If I have a lvl 20 campaign and a lvl 3 campaign, will I get lvl 20 weapons from the lvl 3 campaign?
No, do you get all weapons of you lv20 campaing, and you can use it in all your entire army
Example:
If i unlock gewer 41 in moscow, i can use it in stalingrad and berlin after the merge, i dont need unlock in both campaings
Then we will slowly add in more and more nations till we have a new problem! Lol
That’s why they need to be added just as sub branches in bigger nation’s tech trees.
But lot of people don’t understand it. Thinking it’s some kind of limitation, what a nonsense.
What is the problem with Italy and Britain having their own technological trees? In battles where, for example, the German and Italian armies fought together, players of these armies will be able to fight side by side and complement each other as needed. So, for example, in Stalingrad, North Africa, or in the future, perhaps on the Italian or Greek fronts. They could even stand against the initial BR Britain, like the “invasion of Egypt” or in southern France if France joins.
The same applies to Britain. It can fight alongside the USA in the Pacific, where it can also fight independently and showcase battles in India or battles in British Malaya, for example. In Normandy, it can also fight alongside the USA. Similarly, it could potentially complement the French in the battle for France.
In my opinion, this option of mutually complementing allied armies in battles where they actually fought together is much better than the current system where it is possible for Italians to appear wherever the Germans are, such as in Berlin and Normandy, which makes absolutely no sense.
Regardless of who wants to play as Italy, they will play as Italy. Those who choose Germany will play as Germany, and so on. Moreover, combining several nations into one tree is just an annoying inconvenience during gameplay, where you have to unlock German/Italian weapons even if you only intend to use one of them. So, in my opinion, it is definitely better to separate the nations.
What’s the problem having italy it’s own tech tree as sub branch in German tech tree?
Would just cripple MM even more than BRs itself, splitting playerbase even more.
Its funny to argument that Italian stuff will be in Normady while volksturm guys will be most likely running on basically all maps after the merge.
Italy doesn’t have enough equipment on its on.
No tanks above tier 6, no AR, weak SA rifles.
Even if Italy separates from Germany, they will still need to get Panther, Fg42, Stg44 ect.
What’s the point than? To force us to grind those again.
(edit fixed grammar)
There is no need for Italy/Britain to have the maximum BR. It depends on how much their equipment allows them. Logically, they don’t even need weapons and equipment of the maximum level because they should never be in a location like Berlin.
As for the supplied equipment from Germany or the USA to their allies, if it corresponds historically, I don’t see a problem with Italians using German anti-tank weapons or Pz IV and Stug III, or with the British using weapons from the USA.
We will see Italians using Fg42 and Stg44 after the merge anyway since they are just part of Germany tree.
My point is to add Italy as a subtree (and later more Axis countries such as Finland, Hungary ect) so we wouldn’t have to grind out the Fg42 3 or 4 times just to play other Axis nations with the same weapons and vehicles.
Yes, and that’s exactly the reason why, for example, I don’t want Italy in the German tech tree. What’s the point of playing as Italy if you’re going to use German weaponry? In reality, everyone plays Italy primarily because of their weapons and technology.
And definitely, the FG 42 should not be in the Italian tech tree, not to mention that as far as I know, the Italian army did not use the FG 42 or the STG 44. Similarly, there should be as few Italian weapons as possible in the German tech tree. We want Italy for their equipment and original weapons, not to play as reskinned Germans. When I play in Tunisia as Italy, I only give them Italian weapons (except for AT weapons) and play with Italian tanks, that’s what it’s all about.
Feel free to use Italian equipment only with your Italian soldiers, however an Italian only tech tree would be very airy.
Their tanks only cover about 5 tiers, not enough rifles, spread out smgs, few planes with huge gaps between them and only one lmg.
Germany has access to weapon like Mannlicher, Mas36 and Király39M, so why should Italy be limited?
