Can we get a mass send to rear button for us academy vets? I spent hours on the old system, and my reserves for Soviets/Allies in Moscow, Normandy, and Berlin are basically full, all soldiers I’m not likely to ever want to use as I put my best ones in squads already. Clicking through 600-700 guys is gonna take a while.
I’m not sending mine to the rear just yet and waiting / hoping for a better return rate in the future …
Gaijin:
Eh, these are all soldiers I’m not likely to use ever, and haven’t put much effort into working up. 2/1 for I, 3/1 for II, presumably 4/1 for III isn’t so bad for soldiers that would otherwise be of no benefit.
Especially considering that I acquired these guys at sometime two to four soldiers per bronze order.
better return rate? its already high as it can be.
edit: we get 2 bronze per 1 rank/1 tier soldier so its 2-6 bronze orders per 1 old random soldier bronze…
They also seem to have added an extra step to the process. Now, after sending a soldier to the rear, you are required to scroll down to the lower ranking reserves.
If you’re not sending your entire reserve to the rear, yeah, that could be a problem.
Since we got up to 3 solders per bronze, that’s already an instant profit.
It’s gonna need to change though, to keep it worth it once all us vets have burned through our reserves. As it sits, while we can’t buy them, Bronze troops orders were worth about 10g before the update, or 6 bronze per silver order. I can’t imagine spending a silver order, getting a soldier with suboptimal stats, and getting 2 bronze in exchange.
Yeah, I’m guessing my reserves can do about 1 more campaign, 2 if I am stringent enough. This feature is either getting removed in the long run, or going to have to be reworked.
it wasnt meant to be profitable to buy soldiers and sell them back right away. it was way to get ‘compensated’ for big reserves people bought cause those extra soldiers became useless
Fair enough, and I’m not complaining at all about what I got back. Mulched all reserves except axis factions, and tunisia in general
This feature is not retroactive by any chance?
Like what about all soldiers I send to the back before they implemented this, do I get any compensation for them?
Nope. Not as the devs have implemented their change anyway.
