I’ve been getting back into Tunisia recently, and since Tunisia’s closed beta test I’ve always had an issue with the fact that the Semovente 75/18 only gets an armour piercing shell. It severely hamstrings its ability to function as both a tank destroyer and an anti-infantry piece, and I’ve always wondered why Darkflow never gave it an HE shell even after Tunisia was opened to the public. That being said, Darkflow should add the Semovente’s HE shell to make it more viable to use - at least until players unlock the Pz.IV.

True, but it had HEAT rounds, and gave the allied M4s and M3s a run for their money in North Africa. And the HEAT round would be able to pull double duty like it does for the Moscow PZ4. Plus, it should get its 6.5mm Breda for self defense (Along with the StuG).

Ok so here’s the problem, the one in Tunisia is the 75/34 which was mainly used by the Germans and never saw service in Africa.
The one that should be in Tunisia is the 75/18 which the Italians used mainly as an assault gun and artillery piece. It had HEAT rounds good for popping tanks too.
With this said it should be armed with HEAT and HE as well as a roof mounted MG.
In warthunder the 75/18 is modeled with an MG and the 75/34 has none. So a simple fix to actually buff it and make it historically correct is use the 75/18 over the 75/34

Well it has a slow reload, fixed gun, shitty MG that requires the commander to get his head shot off to use. On the plus side HEAT in this game acts weird and has poor post pen damage. The PZ.III N has a powerful AP for this campaign and easily one shots, also it has a way better MG and quick reload HE.
Or just lazy way is give it HE and that’s better than nothing. Can’t really use the historical counter argument because it’s historically incorrect where it is. Also the Matilda breaks historical accuracy by using HE shells as it only used AP.
