All semi-automatic rifles require an accuracy buff. The spread range of bullets must be reduced further than it is now, and the speed at which the spread range of bullets decreases when aiming must be made as fast as that of a bolt action rifle. And the recoil needs to be reduced a bit. Semi-automatic rifles now have too much recoil.
semi-autos have much more recoil than assault rifles, i’m no weapon expert but it does look weird to me.
Indeed, DF deliberately nerf the accuracy of the semi-automatic rifles, and it is not as powerful as bolt-actions. This is reasonable when there is no BR system, because the bolt-actions need some advantages over semi-automatics to avoid being completely replaced.
But now with BR system and semi-automatic in high-level matches, it is time to buff semi-automatic rifles.
Mmmm, I disagree. Semis are not meant to be fired almost as automatic guns, they need to have nerf in accuracy or a buff with recoil, otherwise you’ll have some sort of “storm” troops with semi autos, and the whole point of the gun is to provide support from a safe distance, not like a Far Cry experience where you use semi autos to kill 50 guys.
Agree. Semi-auto should not become completely upward compatible with bolt action.
This is a WW2 game, and the bolt-action should remain in its current position as a fun toy, not as a placeholder until semi-autos are developed.
I cannot agree. The BR3, which allows the use of semi-auto rifles, is matched with the BR1-2, which primarily uses bolt action.
Making a semi-auto a completely superior weapon to a bolt-action weapon would detract from the experience for BR1-2 players.
Semi-auto rifles are quite useful as is. No buff needed.
Too much recoil not enough damage
Justice for semi auto’s!
