The map is small and most SPG didn’t have elevation like mortar, so it is not possible to fire such a short range with indirect fire.
I’ve thought about that. I’ve now thought that maybe they could work just like all the other vehicles, ie you point, aim, shoot, etc
Plus there isn’t really that big of a difference between the infantry support tanks/ assault guns, AT guns, and even the rocket vehicles we already have in game. They’re all technically artillery anyway. Heck the infantry support Panzer 4 variants are basically a walking howitzer
At the end of the day, its just an idea for a fun new class of vehicles for the novelty for the WW2 sandbox we have
