Is it better to let the game select your next troop or quickly switching over by pressing a button when you get killed. Usually I just press Y twice to get the second most available troop to take over but ive seen other players just let it auto select their next troop and wanted to know if auto selecting is a safer option when fighting other players
I don’t even let the selection window appear, as soon as I die I instantly switch with Y. Otherwise it takes a thousand years.

I have switching troop bound to one of my side mouse buttons so I can swap as fast as possible.
