So in combat you often want to switch to a specific type of soldier during battle instead of to the next one. So a button you could assign yourself for each of the soldier types might be nice. It could be empty, per default.
So for examlple I could selecting the next anti tank soldier in my squat to t or something of the sorts, to not have to pull up the wheel or switch through soldiers till I get the anti tank one if I spot a tank and quickly need to switch.
At the same time I could set switching to a pioneer to u or something of the sorts.
I know about the squad wheel, but I think we both ask about a shortcut that directly switches to either a class or squad position, bypassing the wheel.
You know, disregard that, I remembered you can go Squad Wheel + Soldier Number, it works like that.

To my knowledge there is only the select next soldier button and the selection wheel. Both are very much slower than it would be to have a button that I could press to immediately switch to an anti tank soldier. I can’t find anything in the settings either.
Ye those are both not what I am suggesting here and what I want:
Quick change, changes to the next soldier, not to a soldier of a specific type.
The selection circle doesn’t immediately switch to a soldier of a specific type, you rather have to quickly find the soldier and move over them first.
What I am suggesting here and what would be a lot quicker, when you need it would be: You press a button and you automatically select an anti tank soldier, no matter which soldier you have selected and without any other in between menue.
