I think the good side of being f2p is getting one or more entire levels in a campaign when you get one of those (happened to me recently).
I just did my spin, got a gold order for a soldier !

If only we can manually activate the boosters as getting a booster like that forces me to play instead of trying to take some time off from the game while maintaining the logins.
