Second Weapon Slot on Premium and Event Squads

First, I’d like to thank Gaijin for finally bringing this feature back. It allowed for parity and relevance for lesser-used premium and event squads.

My suggestion to further improve the feature however; would be to once again enable players to move the unique weapon to the secondary slot. I understand that it is contrary to the “point” of these squads, but virtually everyone utilizing this second slot feature will be doing so to utilize a different primary weapon. This would simply be a time-saving feature, preventing players from having to cycle all the weapons on their squad after spawning in. Likewise it would be nice if a fire mode preference could be set for the exact same issue, having to cycle through 9 soldiers to change the fire mode of their weapon is simply tedious.

Great feature, but also a necessary QOL-update you’re suggesting.

So even if I cycle all the weapons in my squad the AI refuse too accept my order and change it back to their primary and unique premium weapon. Never happend before.

I now AI sometimes choose the “strongest” weapon or whatever if they’ve unlocked the secondary weaponary slot. But in this scenario Fedorov should by all means considered a better weapon so that cannot be the reason here.

Probably a bug?

Secondary weapon slot was made available to event AT gunners from Moscow campaign, but it doesn’t do anything - still can’t change secondary gun, plus soldiers lose access to backpack slot.
Gaijin owes me 1 squad upgrade change order now.

Yeah I’m not sure what the logic on those guys is. When I gave my radio troops the G43K with an FG-42 back-up weapon, I noticed they were always switching to the FG-42, which I figured was related to the FG-42 having more stars. But now I’ve got a bunch of soldiers that prefer to swap back to their Lebel instead of an FG-42 II.
