its meant to fire indirectly at the enemy which makes things problematic since in game rocket artillery is direct fire support only.

A vehicle that works like a mortar squad?

Sounds like fun.

this can be a special mortar squad with the rockets aiming like normal mortars.

Absolutely not. 280mm rockets would be ridiculously OP, and it promotes GZ camping even more than the game already does since it’s not a direct fire vehicle.

It’d be an APC, they’d push up to help their team after they use the rockets or while they use them, like the Sd.Kfz.251/9. Also we already have the Panzerwerfer in game, so this would be like that.

There’s a massive difference between 15cm rockets with 2.5kg TNT and 28-32cm rockets, where each rocket has 50KG TNT, which is 10kg more than the strongest tank cannon HE in the game. It would be stupidly broken, especially since it can hide behind hard cover and fire with impunity. The Panzerwerfer is also a direct fire weapon in Enlised, while the Wurfrahmen would not be as it cannot angle straight forwards.

You also imply that someone using it is totally just going to dump and drive instead of sitting on the ammo resupply point and just constantly mortaring the objective. Which we all know is actually what will happen, because Greyzone camping already happens to an excessive degree.

If all infantry could enter the grey zone though… then you’d have anti-tank squads hunting the shit outta these.

HELLL NAW

and if we get this katyuska Will also arrive and hundreds of nonsense aswell

The trade off is that it’s extremely vulnerable

Most self propelled artillery aren’t meant to fight on the frontline and yet we play with them all the time.

I’m sure they’d be able to make it work. Sure you can’t directly aim like the manually operated PzW launcher. The “gunner” would likely aim through a binocular like interface

What’s the issue? Both of these vehicles are extremely vulnerable to everything

Nah twin we adding this, because apparently if the enemy grey zone camps in this, it’s my fault so I think we should add this! Besides it’s honestly a cool vehicle! And if you can’t kill it because it’s knee deep in the grey zone? Womp womp! Apparently that’s just a skill issue! So yeah, can’t wait for this to get added!
