SdKfz.251/8

This is a proposal for an armored car with a recovery function. It will be a squad of 1 driver and 4 medics. Friendly crew members, including yourself, cannot attack, but instead will heal wounds quickly while on board.

dont know, enlisted is too fast paced to be running away and sitting in a vehicle to heal, every player should be ideally throwing their bodies onto the objective and respawning afterwards

it would be better if this was just a normal APC that had an infinite medic box attached to it so people can spawn on it, stock up on medkits, and go about their business

It was a proposal to change the current situation where medkits are easily destroyed. It’s true that the pace of this game is fast and difficult. I think it would be good if medics could play an active role. Up to two of these armored vehicles can be placed within the battle range, and the number of healing items will be limited.

What about you will heal with it in range of 5 meters

That way you don’t need to get it
And still fight

Of course healing wouldn’t be the same as inside

people have too little health to be looking for anything but either self-healing or at worst a medic that can find them.

so, i like the idea and concept.

however, not too keen on the:

i’d be fine if the “medics” ( aka, swiss ) comes with weapons and the halftrack of infinite / finite ammount of resourches to heal fellow troops but has no rally point, or ammo boxes ( like the bike ).

seems balanced to me.

especially useful for defense type of missions on the editor / pves.

but that’s the thing.

if you don’t like it. don’t use it?

no one is pointing a gun at you and forcing you to use it.

as it goes for the box, i do not personally like the box attached to apcs.

i mean, not opposed to it either.

but i much prefer each vehicle is individual and specialized for that.

aka, for example, ammo truck, rally apc, medic apc / truck and on and on.

so it doesn’t cover more role into one.

only exception being bikers because of the number of troopers it has.

but that’s me i suppose

Another medic suggestion…

When will people realize that lives are worth peanuts in Enlisted?

Each time a player spawns, it’s literally an entire squad or an entire vehicle.

If you want to make them the concept of medics feasible, you’d need a massive rework of the kill/down/revive system, spawn ticketing, squad system and gameplay loop.

Lives are worth peanuts.
Any value a medic would have is lost in a game that kills soldiers by the droves.

This isn’t some tactical shooter or a team arena match. The game literally gives everyone access to tools that are easily capable of inflicted mass-casualty events that would otherwise be heavily restricted in other games.

yes indeed.

one of many good ones actually.

sure, lives in enlisted are worth " peanutes " but the Xps from that aren’t

you really don’t.

time to kill is fine as where it is.

and medics are extremely helpful to set your squad back in order with additional medkits.
sure it may not be able to revive people, but it doesn’t have to.
( not claiming you would say that, but someone somewhere will come out with the revival idea. which as a medic enjoyer my self, would not want either )

the purpose of the true medic is to save time by healing other troops and deploy medic crates ( time that would otherwise be spent by soldiers in a corner bandaging themselves ).
aka save time of people that would otherwise lose the momentum by healing them selves, saving time as you ( the medic ) would heal his minions too. hence, the other player will not have to worry to individually heal each one. and above all, sometimes for the attacker team, save tickets.

and doing that, grants the soldier an additional " life " because the next time, you will be able to be downed or have an extra medkit for when the medic isn’t around. or generally being able to allow other soldiers to spawn while saving tickets of those who still remain.

sounds to me you are more of an individual player who lacks the grasp of teamwork.
which it’s fine. it doesn’t suit your play style, nor it should.
