ill use bolts anyway, im tired of those op weapons, i wouldnt enjoy it very long to have fg42 everywhere
Wdym by an honest weapon? so you mean to say that all Select fire, Semi auto, and Full auto weapons are used by dishonest players who have sunk hours (or days) into the game just to grind for said dishonest weapons?

I still use bolt action even in max lvl campaigns… But I wouldn’t mind another yet even more powerful. Though… Is that necessary? Most max star rifles hit for 15-16 already 
Note: I STILL use Berdan II rifle in Moscow. Yes it’s a meme gun, even doing a smoke trail, and only has 1 bulet per mag… it doesn’t have a magazine 
. Yet I destroy opponents with it. Only need one well placed shot, semis need many.

Definitely is. Semis have a lousy 12 stock damage and are quite inaccurate (compared to bolt actions). Mastering those in Berlin made all my other campaigns debut remarkably easy, and I still use them up today (those with grenade launchers are really handy, they can clear a room as well as any smg, but are a bit dangerous to use).
Bolt actions are still competitive and i enjoying using them sometimes more than the semi autos.
i have semi autos on various campaigns and i still use bolt actions mostly.
Mosins and K98k’s are already good enough lee enfields are probably one of the best bolt actions in the game and do not need another ammo type.
Also just to add the lee Enfield mk4 is probably better than any semi auto XD

if I’m blasted by a PPSH why should I get “enraged”? This is a PPSH doing what it’s supposed to do. I’m enraged when I’m sniped with a bolt-action rifle that shouldn’t have this accuracy. So I switched to 35% hp on most of my troops.
The best bolt action rifle in the game is not even a bolt action rifle

But they already up the bolt action rifles when they nerfed the ROF of semi-auto…
I don’t know any way to improve it without hurting the logic of the game (Damage is link to the ammo)

idk i dont use those against infantry but my NPCs do

Well its quite annoying when bots do 360 turn, backflip, instant prone twice double jump and finally dings headshots, all this in 0.2seconds.
But then again its only time I usually die to BA so, DMG buff for BA gets +1 from me.
as already mentioned same ammo has different dmg depending on gun.
Only illogical thing about starter BA’s is K98’s 14 stock dmg vs moist nugget 15 dmg that makes no sense.

Not really. 7.62 on a BA does 14 but on a Semi, MG or a SF they do 12
Damage of BA should be 16, upgraded 18

If only… every and all semis auto in game, across all factions and campaigns, are caped at 12 dam. Yet bolt actions using same rounds do much, MUCH more dam. And vary greatly from the semi 12

Me too along with mas-36, mannlicher, my entire trooper suqad is armed full star bolt actions with 12% fire rate perk and its fun imo, besides im developing this trend across all my campaigns

For something like moscow axis i cannot bring myself to use a semi like the G41 or ZH or MKB. The K98k is just too iconic to not use
