Im totally happy with the grind. All those vehicles and squads I think you should be able to grind for even the premium stuff. If you want to pay to access the premium stuff early cool. Do that. But having stuff like weapons and vehicles behind the pay wall isnt really free2play its more try before you buy model in that you dont get full access to the game. The models that are successful now are business models where the paying is for the battle-pass and cosmetics.
I love WW2 games been playing them since BF1942 and original MOH on PSX. I also played WT for a few years. But the model they have adopted for Enlisted is just bad for the game. In the end it will kill the game. These models are used by companies that milk the game until it dies. Weirdly this is the first FPS ive seen it done to in recent years.
Look id be even happier if they made us pay for the game then everyone would be equal. But this model is just not sustainable. We need to stop defending it as if it is.
P2W is not killing the game, at least P2W is not the only thing that is killing the game. Yes, premium squads are too pricy for me liking and some of them are overpowered. Premium players ability to cycle through vehicle squads is also annoying. Those are all valid points, to some extent.
Sadly, itās just a part of the problem. You have devs who can not communicate with players or if they do, they usually fuck it up or handle it very poorly. You have plethora of bugs that are still in the game and missing QOL features. You have 5 campaigns that divide oh-not-so-big playerbase. You have retarded AI with no visible improvements. You have matches full of bots but god forbid youāll learn they are bots! You have no matchmakingā¦
Iām pretty sure I can continue to go on but I think Iāll stop here. Even if Enlisted will become F2P friendly tomorrow by some bizarre miracle that wont āresurrectā the game.
On a personal note I havenāt played Enlisted for 6 months and apart from Stalingrad, useless ranking system and some nice new maps I see no improvements. Sure, it will keep my interest for some time, but core problems are still here and I doubt I will be able to tolerate that for long resulting in another break from the game.
Yeah I took a break from the game for about 6months, came back and its still the same. Same issues plaguing the game. Look it may not save the game at this stage, But damn I really enjoy playing this game even with all its faults. But there are things that could be done to retain players. If they retain the players thats good for the game and everyone playing it (unless of course you are a sweaty bot farmer)
Itās true that there are things they could do to retain players, make game more popular, increase the playerbase, etcā¦ I just dont think there is any hope left that it will happen. Yeah, game is still quite enjoyable despite the flaws though I no longer expect any viable progress or some adequate future for it.
P.S. Sweaty bot farmers? I thought all them sweatyboys play with each other to prove that they are the top dog and bot farmers just casually kill bots and pray that they will never meet another human being.
only a handful of squads are good enough to be p2w (as-44, mg13PT. ppd40dz, and lewis) while all vehicle premium squads are absolute garbage compared to the f2p ones. for vehicle cycling it only works on defense due to unlimited tickets but even then it means they arenāt actively defending the point
Premiums are Collectibels, fun to use, Rare, weaker then the F2P Squads because of few Reasons.
The best are with Camo-Skins. Sometimes i play Hide&Seek.
They safe Time, 2 Squads nearly maxed out, but not complete, Lvl4 Soldiersā¦ 50Euro. Well for normal Squad without Premium, i bet you need 1-2 Weeks.
If you buy a new announced Game, i bet you finish it too in 2 Weeks.
So i stay here enjoy the best WW2 Game and pwn N00bs, ooooouuh jeah.

This game is just simply screwed. The devs are not implementing the important things and damn well isnāt going to stop the P2W aspect of the game. In my opinion the thing that completely kills the game is no matchmaking which leads to every match having one side get slaughtered 100% of the time. This far in and they havenāt even mentioned implementing/fixing matchmakingā¦ No hope
The problem is not the premi squads for the most part the Vehicles have the same stats as the free ones just get better exp and reload and health from kits.
THE real problems is still easy anti cheat still does not pick up on the worthless jerks that use aim assist/bots and wall hacks. getting killed by snap shots and from across the map when I amn not even visible is just out of hand, usually the guys that have a super high kill count but only lose like 2-4 squads over 100 plus kills is a pretty clear indicator.
STOP THE CHEATERS!!
The cheaters? I think I have around 1200 matches in Enlisted and Iāve had my suspicions twice or thrice about some folks. Iāve seen an actual cheater on one stream but other than that? Thatās clearly not a big problem.
