Personally I will continue derserting matches where 3/4+ of the enemy team are BR3 (soviet) sweat lords while I run around in full BR2 equipment. There is no way and no sense in fighting them with the sheer superior equipment they have (tanks, semis, laser-ppsh).
I have no problem facing a higher equiped player but when my whole team is BR2 and get roflstomped by a 75%+ BR3 team with ppsh, KV1, SVT38 and DP27 there absolutely is no joy.
And no, I will not switch to BR3-5.

No i will quit Stalingrad matches i’m tired of those maps appearing across all BRs, Berlin is also boring and tiresome give me more of Rzhev or Normandy. if you keep punishing me i will alt+f4 and play other games and then uninstall game since why play when game punishes me for playing on maps i like?

And this, regardless it was announced they have something in mind.
Should have added it first.
I know that they have a system for giving the players a choice for what they want to play in mind but if they jump the gun and put something like this in the game before they let players have that choice, I’d uninstall the game. It’s already bad enough that the later player ranks incentivize you to win at all costs and punish you for losing even if there is nothing you can do about it. Which creates a toxic game environment where people screaming at their team in chat for not trying harder while the other team has superior equipment and is crushing the fight at every turn.
But back to the main point, I won’t be punished for being forced to play certain game modes that I do not enjoy playing. I think it’s crazy that 4 years on the game only offers me a choice to play different factions at any time but do not offer the same choice when it comes to what maps or game modes I want to play. So, calling for further punishments of people without addressing the issue would kill the game. I know that for me after I uninstall the game, I would tell anyone that asks that this game is NOT worth playing and wasting time on. Pointing to the devs ignoring simple things like map/game mode choice for players. I mean it’s the end of 2024, games these days release with those kinds of options for players all the time. I honestly see no excuse why these devs have not made this a priority to help boost the player count.
You should first give me a reason why I should be poisoned by a group of idiots for 10 minutes before I can quit, and then I should be poisoned by the next group of idiots for 10 minutes and the cycle continues.
I’m tired of high-level environments being filled with anti-intellectual idiots abusing high-end equipment or squads.
I’m tired of seeing idiots everywhere who can’t even keep themselves alive.
I’m tired of being the nanny to 7 to 9 other idiots in 90% of the games
I’m tired of not only having to be these idiots’ babysitters but having my equipment and combat methods restricted to protect these idiots’ emotional value.
Of course the maps and modes are also terrible
But it’s nowhere near as bad as the one above.
