Same squad respawn grace system

This is actually simple

At how many of us happened thath we are going to take a squad (for example engineer for build rally) and just be wiped out because of mine, tank or plane run… After the spawn? I bet at all of us

So

Why dont add a grace system for take the same squad again if what i posted up happen, the rule i choiced is simple

  • If the squad after the spawn is killed in combat without get points, the player can use it again withaut wait the spawn cool down

  • All the additional respawn with the same squad, are not counted in the global Respawn cool down count of other squad, for prevent abuse and exploit

Nice idea.
Just make sure to not skip the cooldown of the previous two squads you’ve spawned. To prevent possible abuse.

Or just have the squad spawn in the formation chosen (close, standard, wide), letting the player choose before rallying.

If they are in a structure, wide and standard would spread them at the ai position nodes around the building. (I’m just guessing how the ai works in this game though.)

In open terrain I’d then guess standard and wide would be for instance 3m or 6m between each soldier as they spawn.

Formation close would be the usual enlisted gagglerallying you are used to seeing, giving 9man infantry squad kills to mines and so forth.

Would introduce the decision of rallying in stealthily or safely, where you would lose some to mines but less than everyone I suppose.

Dying from a spawn point mine is a joke
The only ones you should protest against are those teammates who put their respawn points in obvious places and you who resurrected without any thought.

There is no such thing as obvious or non obvious places. The only place to prevent being mined is to build it deep into the grey zone to prevent enemies from reaching it.

i dont like this cause people can troll just by sending their squads to be killed. not to mention shit players that just die without doing anything and wasting tickets non stop. it would be better if it was based on time period. e.g. if squad was wiped within 5 or 10 seconds after previous spawn.

Then maybe you should examine why you were infiltrated into the rear areas

Lol, enemy coming from unusual places is literally telling that there is a rally point. Isn’t it super obvious?

This means no one is guarding the flanks or occasionally looking at the sky
No wonder they can lay eggs at the spawn point

I don’t think we should lose the cooldown because it is an element that makes the game more tactical. Also, changing the spawn system could be abused.
For example, if you want to go make a rally point, and if you can revive immediately after being wiped, you can retry again and again until you achieve your objective.
Instead, if there is a possibility of failure, you need to make an effort to think of another means or make an effort to avoid the enemy’s kill zone, and I think that is where the gameplay comes in.
There is also a concern that those who plan to kamikaze attacks with aircraft will also be able to kamikaze endlessly with the same aircraft until they reach their goal. More fine-tuning would be needed, such as making the cooldown exemption only for infantry.

However, I think the spawn point at the start of the round in this game is very silly and needs to be reviewed.
For example in Munda Trail when the Japanese are on the defensive they all spawn under a small cottage. It is a very stupid spawn.

The Japanese need to run as soon as they spawn and run to the back or flank, otherwise the US forces can blow this place up in one HVAR.
I think some of these crazy map designs should be reviewed first.

Lol now you are using different theory. First you said it is the problem of the places that you build rally point. Now you say there is no one guarding the flanks or look for paratrooper. Make up your mind lol.

Or for the flow of soldiers coming off of it to intercept enemies on their way out

This problem only happens when the flow of soldiers failed to intercept the enemies or didn’t spawn. So this is not a way to prevent it.

I’m saying they should and when they don’t, your team sucks

like in 90% of the matches?

Yes

The kamikazeing at least in the sweatiest matches comes down to everything being about time pressure. The behaviour is encouraged in other areas as well.
Engineer and out of resources, no way to replenish, suicide.
Last soldier in squad, suicide.

Even with the time penalty from suicide it is more worth it so you can enter with a new squad as you lose a tenth of potential infantry forces for each vehicle active.

So this mentality goes for planes (glorified v2 rocket) too, more time in the air, less time contributing soldiers to the capture point.

if df ever go the route of increasing player count and bot count, you’d hope the behaviour might subside a little.

No, I think that’s part of the risk of spawning squads, if they get wiped then tough luck and good job on the enemy. If you want to guarantee this is never a problem then run multiple engi squads (We should never remove the ability to bring as many of a squad as we like) and/or have an engi in each squad.

Why should I try to squad wipe at range when they just respawn again with no problems? They still at least need to burn tickets.

There are only two possibilities for being laid an egg
1 is that no defense is penetrated
2 is to cover the dots in a very conspicuous place

If it is 1 then you are all monkeys
If 2 then the architect is a monkey
So which one is your question?
